Ezra's P.O.V

We walked along the sidewalk looking at all the scenery. Kanan and Hera wanted to show me something and I was kind of excited. "There yet?" I asked thrilled smiling. Kanan ruffled my hair affectionately saying, "we're almost there". Hera laughed a little with her arm wrapped around Kanan's. She laid her head on his shoulder.

I walked a bit ahead and looked at all the different houses. The houses were bright colors and the sun was shining, so they were blinding to the eye.

We walked some more and the two led me to my surprise. "Here we are!" Hera said and I looked at the big bricked building with a flag pole in the yard. There was some fun looking equipment surrounded by a fence at the left side of the building.

I cocked my head to the side in confusion. "We are going to enroll you in this school," Hera said and I looked at the building then back at the couple. "What school?" I asked scratching my head. We never had a school in the poor section so this was new to me.

Hera and Kanan were shocked but Kanan snapped out quicker and explained it to me. "It's a place where you go and learn different things to help you in the future, of what you want to do when you grow up," he explained. I nodded and looked at the building again. "Plus, you can meet new people and make friends," Hera added.

I pondered on that cause most kids from the wealthy class knew that I was from the poor class. I was scared at the thought and wondered how hard this school stuff was. Then I looked at the equipment stuff on the side, "What's that?". "That's a park, the school gives kids some time off and let's them play there for a while," Kanan said and smirked, "Do you want to go and play on it?".

I looked at it again and it seemed fun but I shook my head no. "That wasn't a choice hun," Hera said smiling and guided me over to the place. I looked and wondered how we were going to get in. Then Hera found a gate and opened it letting the three of us enter.

I scanned all the weird looking equipment and wondered how they were used. "We will teach you how to use some of these things," Kanan said and I nodded smiling. Hera sat off to the side on a bench and watched us. Kanan led me over to a thing held by two chains and a smooth black seat hanging from the chains. "Ok, this is called a swing," Kanan said holding the chain.

I nodded and watched him sit on the black seat. "You sit on this and kick your legs back and worth to well swing," he said and showed me by swinging. It seemed complicated but Kanan got off of it and I say down. I held onto the cold chains and forgot what to do first.

"Since you're a beginner, I'm going to push you, just hold onto the chains, ok?" He said. I nodded smiling and felt him push me on the back. I went forward then went back down and was pushed again. This went on for a while and I was having a lot of fun until I noticed how high I was.

Time froze until I felt myself fall towards the ground. The memory of the treehouse girl came back and I saw her fall. I was getting dizzy and felt my hands release there grip from the chains. Then I felt myself free falling towards the ground but was caught in strong arms before blacking out.

Kanan's P.O.V

One minute, Ezra was having fun then the next, he's falling from the highest point to where the swing goes. Luckily, my reflexes helped me quickly catch him before he hit the cement. "Ezra," I said worryingly and saw from the corner of my eye, Hera standing next to me.

"What happened?" She asked worried about the boy. "I don't know," I said and walked over to the bench laying him out on it. "Dear, can you give me some space?" Hera asked calmly and I moved away. She started to inspect Ezra and so far, everything was fine.

She stood up and said, "I think he just fainted from fear". "Do you have any theories of any kind of fear?" I asked and she nodded. "I'm guessing he has a fear of heights, " she said," When I was watching Ezra, his face went pale and then before I could say anything, he fell". "Is he going to be alright?" I asked and Hera nodded smiling. "He will be just fine, just let him rest".

"How about we head home, it's almost lunchtime," I said. "Sure," Hera agreed and then she helped me put Ezra on my back. I gave Ezra a piggy back ride while Hera walked beside me to make sure he didn't fall off.

They were still walking when Ezra stirred and cuddled closer to me without waking up. Ezra smiled and so did Hera, "I think someone likes you". "Na, he's probably just cold," I said. Hera snickered taking a picture of me and Ezra without us knowing. She put her phone away and everything became silent.

To silent. I thought it was to quiet and looked around until I noticed what the problem was. "Uh Hera," I said and the quiet went away. "Yes Kanan," she asked then heard the noises. I only said one thing, "Run".
