Undyne x Male Reader

The Problem

It was only a few days after your first honeymoon before Undyne started to look worried about something. She got easily annoyed by anything, even you. She seemed like someone did something to her, but she didn't say what happened. But one day, that had all changed. You walked into the bedroom where you found her head on the beds edge with her arms covering her face. You slowly walked over to her and gently placed your hand on her back, she looked up with tears in her eye. "U-Undyne, what's wrong? You've been acting like this for a while now." She looked up at you, gripped the bed sheets, and then hugged you while crying. You didn't like to see Undyne so upset, so you hugged her gently and sighed. "I j-just...." Undyne started. "He..." you looked surprised when she said "he" but didn't know what she meant. "He, he.....he's gonna attack me again..." and with those 5 words, you knew someone had abused her before you met her. "Undyne.....w-who's gonna attack you again?" "I d-don't want to say his name, but....if I need to..." "Undyne, i need to know who this person is so I can look out for him and help you." "Okay, his name is J-Jonathan...(no offence to anyone named Jonathan)" Your eyes got bigger, you knew who Jonathan was, he was your best friend until it ended with a huge fight. She looked up at you and a tear ran down her face, she then hugged you tightly and placed her head on your chest. You shook hard as your eyes got bigger, and Undyne looked up at you worried about her safety and you. Your hands shook against her back as you hugged her tightly crying, remembering what Jonathan did to you when you were a kid. "Y/N?? Are y-you okay? W-What's w-wrong?" You closed your eyes as Undyne was looking at you with watery eyes. "N-Nothing....just....I'm f-fine..." she knew that you weren't okay, and you didn't like to keep anything from her...but you didn't want to tell her. You then got up, releasing your grip from Undyne, and helped her get back up. "How about we just go watch some anime and not worry about this thing. With those words, she shook her head, you then placed a hand on her hip and wiped the tears from her eyes. You then walked into the living room, turned the tv on, lied down on the couch, and Undyne cuddled up against you to watch the anime too.

(Time skip)

You gripped the counter as you remembered about Jonathan, and Undyne was still on the couch watching anime. You remembered when he had bossed you around and punched you and so many other things that caused pain. Undyne heard your voice under your breath, so she came into the room where you were found crying at. She rushed over to you and placed her hands gently on your arm. "Y/N! Are you okay?!" You slowly wiped away the tears and looked at her, she was worried about you, and you were worried about her, so you knew you probably had to tell her of the troubled past about Jonathan. "Undyne....we need to talk..." Undyne looked puzzled, she didn't know what was wrong. "Just....let's sit down over there on the bed and talk..." And with those words you slowly dragged yourself to the bed and sat down, Undyne walked to the opposite side and then slid over to the side you were on. "So...what's wrong Y/N??" You let out a sigh and looked at her...you knew it was too late to turn back now, you had to tell her.

(Time skip)

"So.....Y/N? You've had something bad happen to you with him when you were little?" You nodded slowly as you looked back down at the floor. "Oh....well.....are you okay?" You sighed as you realised you and Undyne probably weren't safe from him. Undyne broke the silence,"Y/N?" You snapped back and nodded your head yes. She sighed as she leaned against your shoulder," Hey Y/N? Do you think we can maybe lie down?" You gripped the bed sheets and looked at her. You could see that she had gotten very exhausted from this problem. "S-Sure..." Undyne smiled as you slowly lied down and embraced her as she lied down with you. You then slowly rubbed your hand up and down her back, and slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
