"Regret comes in all shapes and sizes. Some are small like when we do a bad thing for a good reason. Some are bigger like when you let down a friend.
Some of us escape the pain of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we're looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past, and sometimes we bury our regret by promising to change our own ways.
But, our biggest regrets are not for the things we did -- but, for the things we didn't do. Things we didn't say that could've saved someone that we care about. Especially when we can see the dark storm that's headed their way." - Lucas Scott One Tree Hill.

Like an old wound being reopened Jess could feel the pain, from that day 5 years back reopening as the memories flood in.
She remembers Hera's words on his amnesia.
"Oh Hera, oh Hera," She cries out for her friend who has been lied to, who had been living in great pain and had lost her entire world. She was furious at Peter for lying to them and was scared at the lengths he'd go to to keep his son away from Hera. Tears fall down her cheeks as she thinks of what Hera has been going through. She walks towards the sink and turns on the tap filling a cup with water. Her hands shake from the emotions reverberating through her. She shuts her eyes telling herself she needed to be strong for her friend who needed her now more than ever. She shuts the tap off and cleans her eyes placing the cup into the microwave to warm up as her mind is filled with various thoughts.
The ping from the microwave wakes her up from her thoughts. She prepares a cup of tea with shaking hands and holds her palms together to calm herself down. She then returns to the room and hands the cup to Hera.
"Did he...what did he..." Jess struggles to find the right words, not sure what to say, feeling choked up. She clears her throat and tells herself to get herself together.
"Are you sure he lost his memories?" Jess finally asks.
Hera nods.
Jess let's out a heavy breath.
"Did you...did you tell him who you are? Did you tell him everything?" Jess asks.
"No," Hera whispers.
"What?! Why?!" Jess exclaims confused.
"Shakespeare's sleeping," Hera says gently reprimanding her against shouting.
"Why didn't you? I mean he has a daughter, Shakespeare, he deserves to know," Jess says.
"Lexis is engaged Jess, to Karen," Hera says.
"What?!" Jess says jumping up.
"Your voice," Hera reminds her.
"My voice is not important right now, what the heck do you mean he's engaged to Karen? And which Karen? Karen Reid's sister? Karen the girl who was delusional about marrying Lexis, Karen?" Jess asks in disbelief.
"I'm not sure either if it's her, but when he was here, he got a call from his fiancee..." Hera states.
"How do you know his fiancee called?" Jess asks interrupting her.
"The lady with him said so. She said Katherine, Karen his fiancee called. Maybe it's not the Karen we know, I mean the lady said Katherine," Hera says.
