I stared at her, her eyes still somewhere else as she stared back.
"You're so laid back," I commented, "you just go with the flow."
She smiled and continued swaying gently to the elusive beat. I watched her bring her hands up to her face, brushing away a couple tousled strands of hair that fell in her eyes.
Again she smiled, and she broke eye contact, a dazed look, mostly likely from the drugs, coming over her.
"Life is easier when you don't care if you live or die." She stated passively, and then she floated away, maneuvering through the crowd until I couldn't see her anymore.
