Standing in a crowded room and I can't see your face

i watched as Dinah turned to the side and smiled at me. we were doing okay. Callie ended up breaking up with her because she felt like she was in the way of true love. she's still in the crew though and i'm just the person that comes along for support.

i loved watching Dinah perform. it was like she was meant to sing. i would've liked to meet her earlier in life but i liked when i met her. that was the moment i truly felt a connection.

when she finished her songs, i watched as she ran off the stage into my arms again. it felt so good to have her back. granted, we were going slow but it's a start. she always lit up when she's about to perform and it's the cutest thing ever. its like she's scared but as soon as it's getting closer to perform with the crowd cheering, she gets so hyped. the fans help her relieve her from fear. it's pretty amazing watching her freak out then just start jumping in happiness.

"Mani, are you doing it tonight?" Lauren asked me, as Dinah walked to the dressing room.

"yeah since it's her first big event that she finally got nominated for. i really hope people voted for her."

"i do too. she's worked so hard to do this. she's gone a long way."

"she really has." i said, as i saw Dinah walk out. "she doesn't know anything does she?"
