The boy saw the comet and suddenly his life had meaning.

On the steps of a wilting house, sat six young men with their entire lives ahead of them.

The sky above them was alive with stars and galaxies and the moon shone full.

No words were said, but then again no words were needed. The stars gave them memories of the boy, and the boy gave them the visions of the stars.

A flare of light disrupted the perfect sky. A shooting star? No. A comet.

A comet which was a ball of fire and passion,

A ray of life across a cold sky,

A reminder that they were so small in comparison to the universe.

The Boys Saw A Comet,

And they wished for a second chance.
