Dan steps off the train into Manchester's station. The memories of the first time he met Phil came rushing back as he passed the waiting room, but they were quickly replaced with fear. 'Will Phil actually kiss me?' 'Is he just gonna blank me?' These questions circled Dan's head as he exited the station into the road where he sees Phil stood, leaning against his car.
Phil smiles at Dan, and begins to walk over. Dan's heart beat intensifies, he wants Phil to kiss him but what if he doesn't? All that disappointment will build up and hang over Dan like a dead weight.
Phil approaches Dan, and instantly pulls him into a hug, which Dan tightly returns. Phil moves his head from where it was resting on Dan's shoulder so he is about three centimetres away from Dan's lips.
"I love you" he whispers, before quickly attaching his lips to Dan's. Instantly, Dan kisses back, and he feels his whole body relax.
"I love you too" Dan grins, as the boys finally break apart.
