Chapter Ten

When you woke up next, the skeleton that was called Ink was gone. Blueberry was by your side now, and when you opened your eyes his sockets went wide.

"Error! She's awake!"

You try to sit up, this time having the strength to move. But it was still painful, extremely so, and you laid back down again. Error was suddenly by your side, looking down on you worriedly.

"Y-Y/n?"

"Yeah," you cough out.

"I-I'm s-s-s-sorry."

Your eyes had closed again, and now a startling feeling aroused you. Something cold and wet had landed on your face, and when you looked it was Error, crying. You smiled at him, sitting up once more. He watched your frighteningly.

"N-no! Y-you should r-r-rest-"

But shock stopped him as you hugged him tightly. You could see his cheeks turning bright yellow.

"It's okay."

He melts in your arms, hugging back half-awkwardly, as if he'd never been hugged before.

"I-I'll f-fix this I p-p-promise."

You pull out your soul. It's a slightly faded f/c with a small crack in it.

"I know."
