Today was Monday, so that ment school. Facing all of the people from the party. Facing Carter. I was so not looking forward to today. After forcing myself out of bed, I quickly got ready. Deciding to wear a pair of jean short shorts and a v-neck t-shirt with some converse.

I hop downstairs, I-pod in hand and into the kitchen. I pause for a second to glance at Noel and Cody sitting at the island, eating. I continue on to the porch to grab my purse. I hear the sound of someone being hit.

“What the hell?” Cody exclaims and I hold back my laughter.

“Well don’t check out my sister!” Noel flings back and even though I’m not in the room, I feel my cheeks heat up.  I drop some money and my phone into my purse before heading back into the kitchen.

“Kinda hard not to.” Cody mutters just as I walk into the room. Noel hits him in the back of the head.

“Kinda hard not to, what?” I ask innocently, as if I didn’t hear anything.

“Nothing.” They both say together. That’s when I notice the car keys sitting on the island. Noel never lets me drive, he always hides the keys. But there they are right out in the open.

I waste no time. I leap forward and grab the keys.  “Hey!” Noel yells but it’s too late. I turn toward him with a smirk.

“Let’s go boys!” I yell over my shoulder as I walk out of the house. I slide into the driver’s seat, I can’t stop smiling. Cody makes it outside before Noel, so he claims shotgun.  When Noel comes out he glares at us both.

Surprisingly we actually make it to school without killing or injuring anyone with my driving skills. As soon as I park, Noel bolts. I don’t move and I tap my fingers on the wheel.

“Hey, everything will be fine.” Cody tells me.  I turn to look at him.

“I want to believe that, trust me, but I just know something will happen or someone will say something.”

“Just ignore them.”  I shake my head.

“Impossible when you’re me.” I say. Then I smile. “Let’s go.” We walk together into the school and I can feel people looking at me. “Oh god, they all keep looking at me.” I whisper to Cody.

“Don’t worry.”  He takes my hand, squeezes it and gives me a reassuring smile. “See you later.”

“Bye.” He drops my hand and walks in the opposite direction of where I’m going. I just need to make it to my locker and then to class without drawing too much attention.

Easy right?

Nope.

“Hey Morgan!” Some guy yells, I glance over. “Come over here! I hear you’re a pretty good kisser!”  I keep walking. I get to my locker and grab the books I need.  I just need to get to my class.

“Is it true you made out with Carter?” Some cheerleader asks me, I just nod.

The worst one was when I was turning a corner I walked right into some guy in a deserted hallway. He grabbed my waist to keep me from falling or anything. He seemed annoyed until he saw it was me.

“Sorry about that.” He whispered in my ear, his hands still on my waist. Then he started to slide them lower.  I was so shocked, I froze. He took that as a go ahead. He slipped his hands under my shirt.

“Get away from me.” I said but he just smiled and pressed me into the wall. “I’m serious.”  And that’s when his hands moved to undo my bra. “Stop!” He took one hand and covered my mouth.  And before anything could happen, Cody was there and suddenly, I could breathe again.
