Walking back into camp, you hear the two groups of Lost Boys combining into their small groups of friends. Talking right away, though the background chatter quietened when two set of feet were heard walking towards camp from the North.
The low whispering started again. Picking bits from here and there, it was Max and Quinton. The last group was filling in the first group of Lost Boys the news of the events that took place. 'Ran off to Pan. Of course.' You grinned to yourself, proud.
“What did you do?” a brotherly voice filled with curiosity questioned, standing next to you.
“Killed the weed before it became a problem.” You stated simply
“You may have a bigger problem.”
“Wh---” You started before the source of heavy footsteps interrupted you.
“(Y/n). A word.” A voice growled, grabbing your arm with sudden force, taking you into the forest. Coming to a stop, Pan let go of your arm.
“Look I---”
“What was the purpose?”
“To weaken the problem before it started to grow. Being the only girl here, tends to make you boys think I’m at the bottom of the pyramid.”
“How did you know?”
“Kent”
You never got a response, only the sound of magical transportation. “I guess I’ll have to find my own way back.” Sighing to yourself, feeling the lack of presence.
Before you could take one step, the ground changed below you and a brotherly voice emerged, “(Y/n)?!”
“Kent? Where am I?” You asked, trying to listen to your surroundings.
“Your tent. How did you teleport here?”
“Pan, I guess. One second he was there, and in the next I could hear his magic and his presence gone. Before I could even move, I turned up here.” You explained, as Kent helped you sit down.
“He left you in the middle of the forest?!”
“Yep...”
“What did he want?”
“Why and how I knew about the trouble-makers” You stated simply.
You heard your brother sigh, before continuing, “If I know anything about Max and Quinton it's that they aren’t giving up yet. Let me know if they give you a hard time. They can be a bit immature from time to time.”
“Aren’t all lost boys immature at some point?" You joked.
Kent gave a little laugh, “I guess we all do at some point, but Max and Quinton can get a bit out of hand. So as always, just be careful.”
“You know, I always am’” You smiled. You were always grateful for this little moments with Kent. It was something none of the other Lost Boys could ever give you. A loving, big brother.
Sensing your brother’s smile, you smiled. As you felt Kent stand up, you looked up a bit. “ I’ll see you in a bit. I have to check on the Lost Boys and their chores.”
“I’ll see you at dinner then”
“Aye, See you then”
