At our middle school in Germantown, Wisconsin, it's customary for students to "wrap" each other's locker the day before their birthdays. It was my friend's birthday and I decided to wrap her locker with some of her other friends. After we were done realized that we had extra candies. I thought it would be cool to stick a kit Kat onto Zac's locker. Well I didn't want him to think it was just a mindless prank. So we decided to write my name in morse code on the wrapper then paste it onto his locker. "Nobody will know how to read morse code", they said. "He'll never know it was you!" they said. Well by the time I entered school the next morning, everybody was gathered around Zac's locker, while he and his two other chums had their phones flashed out, searching up how to solve morse code. "Im so dead." I thought. Soon he'll know the first letter. Then the second. "Oh my lord." I dashed passed his locker, hiding my face. When I gathered my class items I headed down the hall past all the fuss over the, I quote, "Secret love note" that "a girl's name" snuck to Zac. Well I had a plan, of course. If he found out the name, I'd say my friends did it without my permission. Stupid excuse, I know that now. But at the time I thought that'd hold them off.
