Allen POV
Hello My name is Allen Walker and I am an exorcist of the black order...and I am madly in love with my best friend y/n.
She was so beautiful, funny and smart that I couldn't help but fall head over heals in love with her, but sadly she didn't see me in the same light as I saw her.
I let out a depressed sigh as I watched her laugh and joke with Lavi, it was Christmas and the black order was having a Christmas party. And here I was all alone with me knife and fork as Lavi flirted away with y/n.
Because I am a gentleman I didn't dare disturb y/n and Lavi, it just wasn't meant to be.... I suppose.
Y/n pov
As I was standing and chatting with the Lavi I noticed Allen, my long time crush and best friend sitting alone gorging himself with the Christmas buffet that Jerry and the cooks made for the feast. I blushed slightly as he just looked so adorable when he ate so I just couldn't help but smile, but seeing him all alone broke my heart. So I politely excused myself for leaving Lavi abruptly and headed over to the lonely boy with majestic white hair and beautiful purple eyes with a big smile.
"Hello Bean sprout!"
Allen looks up obviously annoyed at the nickname, but his frown quickly turned into a smile when he saw me, which made me smile even more.
"Bestie?! What are you doing over here weren't you talking to Lavi?"
"I was but I decided I wanted to come and talk to you" I paused for a moment and realised I didn't want to be 'bestie' anymore! I know it is selfish but that is not how I want Allen to see me. "Actually Allen can you come with me for a second? I need to ask you something."
3rd person POV
Allen was a bit surprised but quickly nodded and followed y/n to a secluded corner of the party.
"What's up?" Allen asks nervously, praying that it was nothing bad.
"Allen I don't want to be your friend anymore!"
Allen's heart broke it felt as if his whole world had shattered.
Y/n panicked slightly at Allen's hurt expression and was about to explain herself when suddenly they was a loud exclamation.
"ALLEN AND Y/N ARE UNDER THE MISTLETOE EVERYBODY!!!!" shouted a overly excited Lavi.
Everyone immediately started to chant "KISS! KISS! KISS!"
The two blushes madly and Allen tries to leave thinking that because y/n didn't want to be his friend that she didn't want his lips to be anywhere near hers but that was not the case.
Before the boy could walk away y/n grabbed him gently pulling him back, she then cupped his face with her hands and kissed him.
Everyone cheered as Allen stood there dumbfounded.
Once the kiss broke y/n smiled, I don't want to be your friend because I want to be your girlfriend.
Allen was shocked "me? Why me!?"
"Because I love you dummy!" Said a happy y/n.
Allen felt his heart melt, he happily hugged the girl "I love you too y/n!"
Y/n heart melted also and she happily excepted the boys embrace, this had been the best Christmas ever!
