Chapter 3:




Draco's POV:




I awoke in the morning to a tapping sound on my window. It was Theo's owl carrying a letter. I quickly tore it open and found out that he would be returning today, much to my delight.




I dressed in my robes and prepared for the day.




I walked down the corridor with Goyle and Blaise. We were chatting about our upcoming flying lesson.




"It's right after breakfast, with the Gryffindors." Goyle groaned.




"Oh they aren't that bad. Plus, most of the girls are hot." Blaise said with a wink.




"You are such a player. We are only 11!" I sneered.




"Gotta start early." he said happily.




He was a nutter. Absolutely mental. I couldn't wait to have Nott back... At least he was halfway normal.




We got into the great hall and realized we were late. People were already digging in and the mail was starting to fly in. We quickly took our seats as the packages started dropping.




The Daily Prophet landed in front of me and the delivery owl waited patiently for its 5 knuts.




"Here, you ruddy bird..." I mumbled, putting 5 knuts into its pouch.




Another parcel landed in front of me, but the bird disappeared before I could write a response.




Hmm, I thought, this one doesn't need a reply. I wonder what it could be.




I open it to find freshly backed scones from Mum. She also packed my favourite raspberry jam to go with it. I smiled in delight, these were my favourites!




Attached to the bottom of the packaging was a letter. It wrote:




Draco,




I'm very proud to hear that your are in Slytherin. Well, the whole family was so I just knew. You have grown to be such a great young boy. Auntie Bella would be proud too. I just want you to know something, Draco. You can be whomever you wish to be. Remember that, my love. I shall see you soon.
