Chapter 35- Let's Run Away
Me and Rocky just sat there, not knowing what to say. It was too late to pretend we didn't talk with eachother. Riker already saw everything.
"Riker, I-" I started, only to be cut off by him.
"We had a deal."
"Yeah, but-"
"No. Don't. You promised. You break your promise, I break mine."
Rocky just sat there, staring.
"Don't just sit there, pretending you don't know what's going on. You know exactly what this is about," Riker said to him.
And then, Rocky stood up, and punched Riker right in the face. Yep, he punched him.
"What the fuck, dude?" Riker asked and punched him back. Then he left the house to go to wherever.
"Are you okay?" I asked Rocky.
"Yeah. I'm fine," he replied. "I can't believe I just did that..." He trailed off.
"Me neither."
Then he kissed me. Man, today is one weird day. First, I tell my boyfriend that his brother tried to rape me, then I tell him about everything that's been going on, then he punched Riker, and now we're kissing. What the hell? But it was a pretty good damn kiss.
He pulled away after a couple seconds. "Sorry, I just really missed kissing you."
"Me too," I replied. "I just want things to go back to the way they were. Just me and you. Without Riker or anyone else in the way."
"Well, we could always...you
know...run away?"
