This story centres around Evelyn Summers, who isn't the only main protagonist of the story. Sure, she's the Chosen One. That didn't mean she was to be the only focus of the entire series.
Evelyn herself was quite an outcast, but on a metaphorical level rather than literal.
This is a story about her finding out literal outcasts that everyone hates; Arcans, and their contradicting revelations, pasts, and personalities.
If you're looking for protagonists that slay dragons, you'd have to wait a little longer. Evelyn isn't an immediate badass. She needs time to train, and learn.
All characters belong to me, created by yours truly, in her dreamy head.

Note: There will be references to other books like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. I'm pretty sure that's okay. They obviously belong to the brilliant works of JK Rowling and Rick Riordan (Uncle Rick!).
