"Baby, you just gotta make up
your mind that every little thing
is gonna be alright."

Chancellor Bennett.

"Before I close out the show, I want to bring out a special guest. This person's been supporting me since day, even when everyone said I wouldn't be able to. Please welcome my brother, Chance, also known as Chance the Rapper!" walking out as soon as my name was said, I heard the loud screams of the thousands of fans that Taylor had managed to gain within the few months that he's been doing shows. Hugging my brother as tightly as possible, because this is the first time I've seen him in a year and a half, I spoke into my mic;

"How're you guys tonight?" The screams were enough confirmation that they were doing quite good, and they were most likely enjoying themselves to the fullest of their own expectations. "That sounds like you're all having a damn good time tonight! Alright, this song I'm going to sing should be fairly familiar to everyone who's been rocking with me since day one. I'm going to need your help singing it though, is that okay?" Again, the arena was filled with crazy loud screams, and I'm currently thanking God for whoever thought it'd be a good idea to make in-ear monitors. They're honestly a blessing because without it, I'd have a head-splitting headache from the screams that I hear at every performance, not just this one.

Sighing happily to myself, I began to since into the microphone, "I still got orange and white cassette tapes. Tents where my neighbor came to spectate. Niggas that's tough now used to get little in the dark.."

"I'll text ya later, lil' bro. Don't stay out too late partying. By the way, you did a hell of a good job tonight," I reminded Taylor before giving him another hug, for the 4th time in the last 3 minutes. I unlocked my car before climbing in it and putting the key in the ignition.

"Alright, C. Drive safe, and make sure you tell Lani I said 'hello'", Taylor said before waving goodbye to me as I cranked my car up and walking to the vehicle that contained the rest of his team. As I began to back out of out the parking lot of the arena, my phone blared as my ringtone rang. I looked at the caller ID before answering it while carefully trying to exit the arena parking lot, still.
"Hey, babe. What's up?"
"I'm having the worst cramps of the century. It feels like someone's stabbing me in my uterus."
"It's that time already? Well, I'll bs at the house as soon as possible. I'm gonna pick up a few things for you as well. You're good on your diapers though, right?" I asked while quickly turning my car into the left lane.
"They're not diapers, you shit stick. And no, I've just used my last one just a fee minutes ago."
"I'll buy more for you if you say you love me."
"I love you, you idiot."
"I love you, too, baby. I'll be there in 20 minutes maximum," I said before hanging up and reminding myself of what I normally get Kehlani at this time of the month.

"I'm home and I brought back Starbucks, a tub of Ben & Jerry's, Reese's, along with a few other chocolate candies, and a few comic books that I haven't seen you read yet. Oh, and I have your diapers!" I yelled as I managed to carry the Starbucks drink holder in one hand and the bag filled with junk in the other hand, all the while trying to close the door.
"I'm in the living room!"
"Oh, yeah, make Chance carry all of your junk to you. How generous of you," I said once I reached the living room and plopped down beside her on the couch.
"Can you go get me a spoon from the kitchen?" she asked after taking everything from my hands and lightly pecking my cheek. I nodded my head and quickly retrieved a spoon.
"What're ya watching?" I asked, sitting beside her again as she opened up her tub of ice cream.
"The secret of 5 year olds," she said before I spoon fed her a bit of her ice cream.
"How'd the show go?"
"It went amazing. Honestly, I felt like a proud soccer dad tonight. It felt good to actually experience what Taylor has been experiencing these last few months with him on stage. Oh, and he said hello."
"Yeah? Wish I would've been able to come."
"Me too, but it's the thought that counts," I said, leaning over to plant a kiss on her lips just as a knock came from the door.
"I'll get it, Lani," although I was too comfortable to move, I'd rather me get up than her and deal with her calling me every name in the book because I'm too "lazy" to take 10 steps to open a door. As I opened the door, I kind of wished I wouldn't have though.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the home wrecker."
