billy was sat against dodie's padded headboard contently as night drew to day on the other side of the blinds, her fingers running through her bestfriend's dark locks as she slept.

she eyes the alarm clock on the bedside table, the beaming red numbers making her squint a little.

it wasn't early by any means, but she knew dodie needed more sleep than she usually did. they had spent most of the night cuddling under the heavy duvet in dodie's queen sized bed, somehow talking about nothing and everything all at once.

by the time dodie had fallen asleep in billy's arms, it was around one a.m, and the doggo's were happily curled up on the futon with blankets and toys to keep them company.

she feels around for her phone and finds it tucked into her cleavage - presumably from where dodie had been fiddling with it before she fell asleep.

still, she can't help but laugh quietly as she fishes it out, hastily turning the screen brightness all the way down before typing in her code.

a smile slowly creeps onto her face when she sees a single notification from Instagram - and seeing as she only had her message notifications on, she had a a sneaking suspicion that it was her lover boy.
