"Princess of Unova? Really? Melody?" Selena asked in shock

"Oh? Do you know of her?" Acerola asked

"W-well... you can say that" she nodded

"You wanted to hear more stories about my family, huh? Want to know about her?"

"Yes! Oh yes! I would!"

"Sure! I'll be happy too! Kiddos, prepare some tea for our guest!" The kids next to Hau obeyed and ran off to the kitchen as Acerola offered the trainers a seat

"Melody... I can't believe... I didn't know" Selena muttered. Ninetales nodded, thinking the same thing

"In Unova, there were two twin princes... and they created Unova with the power of their yin and yang Pokémon; Zekrom and Reshiram. These Pokémon were once a single Pokémon, but because these twins each sought something different in life, truth and ideals, that's when these two legendaries were made" Hau flinched and looked at Selena's belt with her Pokéballs. There was a tension of strong emotions coming from two of them

"The truth and ideals sides were equal... so the twins set aside their differences, but the sons of those twins... brought back that fight. They were special men, but no one knew if they were Leles... created by those two legendaries that fought aside them. Leles weren't known to anyone just yet in these times. The fight turned into much more... and their sister had to watch everything. She was known for being special because of her eyes. She was cold as ice... and she put a stop to her brothers war, by sealing their souls into orbs. She had the power to hold a spirit and put it into something else. Her brothers are now one with those dragons. She killed them, as to say... they were inside those legendaries, but it wasn't known that if those twins lived. Princess Melody was powerful, yet she was so young. Only 13 years old, her life was taken after a mysterious man came into her life and abandoned her in the middle of a storm, alone in her castle. The storm was caused by a Lugia... this man had purposely angered the legendary. Noone knew of his true intentions, but he was a time traveler. Some say he's living here in our own time. Why he did what he did is beyond me..." Selena stared at her shaking hands "it's a very sad story, and I wish I can know more about what happened to her. This happened over 1000 years ago, so it's only a legend" Selena stood up and stared at Melody's picture. Acerola really did look like her... no wonder she looked familiar

"Melody... wasn't abandoned. Her family committed suicide because of what their sons have caused. Melody was left alone with her caretakers, who were afraid of her because of her powers, but because they were loyal, they had to go and run to get food for the mansion. The storm had caused everyone to see death early. She only had Toby" a tear escaped her eye "he was her caretaker for about 2 years while he was in his coma when getting his first experience. His legendary assigned him to anger the legendary Lugia and cause the storm. The storm was a way to set a time for when Melody's body could give out and die of starvation. Toby didn't want this... but he was assigned. He left her when she needed him the most. She died, leaving behind her mansion that would break down during the years, and she left behind her ditto that's been scarred for life. She died for a purpose, her soul was special... if she didn't die on that particular day, someone today couldn't be born" she looked at Acerola staring at her in shock and devastation "that someone... is me. I am her reincarnation" Selena looked down "she waited for me for so many years... she gave her mansion. I never understood why she did everything for me. She brought me back to life when I used my full power to save this world when using my power of aura... she saved me"

"How..?" Acerola cried "how do you know all this..?"

"Because during my adventure around the world, I met up with Toby, that time traveler, a Lele who can control time, and I read his diary secretly... it's diary that's been stored away, but he knows to not touch it. he doesn't remember Melody, because Dialga erased his memory of knowing what he had done" Acerola stared at her hands
