Lauren heard gunshots and Mike scream. Her eyes filled with tears as she ran back to the house. She say Hazel outside with Jared. "Get everything packed up!" She yelled. She made them get inside the house as she kept guard. She saw Dwight run up to her. "Mike's dead. He tried to punch Eli. So I shot him. In the head." Dwight lied. Lauren pushed him backwards as she sobbed. "Leave!" She yelled. Dwight smirked as he ran off. Lauren cried as she went inside the house. "We're leaving. Now." She said. Jared got in the drivers seat as John got in the passengers. Lauren and Hazel sat in the back. "Drive." Lauren commanded.
Lauren's eyes were red from crying and her hands were shaking. Hazel fell asleep with her head on Lauren's shoulder. "How long has this thing been going on?" Lauren asked. "About a year and a half or so." Dr. Jared replied. Lauren nodded. She drifted of to sleep even though it was still light out.
Austins hair was all messed up from crying. Melanie's head hurt terribly from crying. Zach was pale from crying. And Mike was a mix of them all. "Where do we go?" Mike asked after hours of silence. "We found this factory on our way here. Let's go there." Zach replied. The group nodded.
Lauren explained to the other group that Mike died. She broke down in the middle and couldn't finish. The others were crying silently.
After days, Mike's group arrived to the factory. "We're here." Melanie said. The group got out of the car and went in the factory. Nobody was there so they claimed the spot as their own. "Wait." Mike said. The group looked at him. "Where's Korey and Juliet?" Mike asked. Zach shrugged. "I lost them when a ton of walkers attacked us. Then I found Austin and Melanie." He said. Mike nodded.
Both of the groups said goodnight as one fell asleep in a car, another a factory.
