chap 001. moving

❝ Y/N's POV ❞

Business trips! This is one out of the million reasons why I dislike having my parents as 'important business people.' I sighed at the thought of it. To get my mind off of unwanted things I decided to check on my small adorable kwami, Allena.

"Allena?" I whispered to my little kwami, she yawned and flew out of my bag.

"Yes, Y/N? Is it time for afternoon snack?" I giggled.

"Not yet, Allena" I said letting out a small laugh,

Allena whined, then looked at me, "How do you feel about moving to Paris?"

"Terrible. I don't want to move. I feel perfectly fine staying here" I said, Allena nodded in understandment,

"Say.. Y/N, did you know that in Paris there's other two miraculous holders?" I looked at my kwami then I touched my black choker, my miraculous, and shook my head,

"Allena, can I ask you a question?" Allena looked at me in surprise at the sudden change of my aura,

"Anything Y/N!" I looked down and briefly closed my eyes.

"Why was I chosen to be a miraculous holder?" I asked, Allena looked at me with a frustrated look,

"I know I ask you this question very frequently but.. I just don't get it! Out of all the people.. Why me?" I called out,

"Well, Y/N.. As many times as I've said this, I have to tell you again. You are capable of being a hero! You protect your loved ones and even strangers at that, you respect, you are caring too- But the list goes on and on" I sighed at Allena's usual response, I mean the old lady next door is as caring and loving as I am, why wasn't she chosen?

My bedroom door opened, I quickly grabbed Allen and shoved her into my crossbody purse,

"Hey mom" I smiled casually sitting down on my bed pretending nothing happened,

"Are you ready to go to Paris, love?" She chirped excitedly, of course she's excited to go to "The City of Lights".

"Yeah, I'm all packed and ready to leave my perfect home!" I paused for a moment, "Do we really need to leave? I mean, Dad is just having a business trip," I said.

"Y/N, dear, I have told you many times. Your dad and I decided to move the company to Paris! That's why we're moving to Paris, not because of a business trip" She said calmly,

"But my friends! And everyone else whom I love and care about!" I said worried,

"Oh! That has a quick fix, Y/N. You can make new friends~ Plus we already hired photographer at Paris! Plus a partner too! Which is such a cutie~" My mom said winking at me,

My mom had been trying to get me a boyfriend the past months.. I know! I know! In most cases, your parents don't want you dating people at my age but my mom has a total different mindset.

"Also! That cutie.. You are also going to the same school with him!" My mother said, great! That's all I needed.

"Honey, its time to go! We dont want to miss the plane!" My dad barged in my room.

"Dad.. Its a private jet. How are we going to be able to miss it?" I said with a sort of 'are you stupid?' tone,

"Y/N! Dont talk to your father like that!!" I rolled my eyes, I rolled so far that I could actually see my tiny brain. Kidding.

"I am just saying, can't I speak the truth?" I said annoyed, my parents are looking at me with a frustrated face, making me the bad person.

"Well, let's go! I thought we were leaving already." I said leaving my room with my luggage on one hand.

We are now inside the jet, I look for a seat farthest from my parents and sit down.

I look outside the window and have all types of thoughts going on my head. I am really going to miss everyone, especially my friends.

I look around the plane to see if anyone was at sight.

"Mom and dad are having a snack" I whispered to myself.

"Allena? Are you awake?" I opened my bag and Allena crawled out of the bag,

"Yeah, and I am also very hungry..." I took off my bag.

"Ah! I didn't give you your snack. Just wait here.." I walked to the snack bar area,

"Oh! Are you hungry, Y/N?" my mother asked,

"Yeah. I just want some veggies" I said,

"But I thought you didnt like your veggies honey" Mother said confused,

"Well, there's always time for change!" I said trying to sound convincing. But my stupid reason seemed to work! Thanks to my acting, of course.

My mom grabbed a bowl and placed some baby carrots,

"Thanks mom!" I grabbed the bowl and walked back to my seat,

"Here you go, Allena. Bon appétit." I said, she sat in the plate and began eating,

❝ Marientte's POV ❞

"Hey girl!" Alya said cheerfully, as usual,

"Oh! Hey Alya! You seem very cheerful today!" I said, even though she's always cheerful,

"Well, guess what?" Alya said trying to keep me in suspense,

"There's this new girl everyone is talking about!! Everyone knows about her! She's a model and actress! And she's going to attend to this school!" Alya said all jumpy like. Wow! A teenage model and actress? The only teenage model I know is.. Adrien~

"Oh and that's not all!! There's also a new miraculous holder coming!! To Paris!!" Wow! A new miraculous holder!

"Wow! Is it a she? Or a he?" I hope its a she, so that can make things less awkward between Chat and I.. since I rejected him..

"Hmm.. I think its a she. Why?" Alya asked curious,

"Just curious!" I smiled brightly, hugging Alya. Well then, I never knew there was another miraculous holder.. serving for good, of course. Well then, I'll be looking towards working with her.
