Hi. I guess I should introduce myself?

I've been obsessed with writing for about ten years now, but due to just schooling and other prior commitments I haven't seemed to be able to find the time to write in a painfully long time. I don't think I've sat down and written a proper book in at least two years. Of course I'd say I think of ideas for books and invent characters and scenarios in my head on a daily basis, I just haven't found the time to write them down. This is an idea I've toyed with in my mind for a few months now, and I think it's pretty adorable. Maybe it's a little weird that my first attempt at getting back into writing is with fanfiction, but oh well. I'm just hoping my writing isn't too rusty.

So about the story. The idea is that we're back in 2013, and Scott Hoying is a single 22 year old living in LA and going to school for a degree in music. He's always been fairly shy, and doesn't make friends too easily. His only three friends are really Avriel Kaplan, Kevin Olusola, and Todrick Hall. He's fairly insecure and it took almost everything he had to come out as pansexual to his parents and two older sisters in his senior year of highschool. It's honestly quite a shame that he's so reserved, because as we all know he's incredibly sweet and lovable and has a contagious zest for life. He is convinced that he is going to be single for life, and is already sad about having so little friends. But anyway. He downloads Vine after hearing a lot about it from his friends and is almost instantly obsessed. In a way it allows him to break out of his shell a little and he starts making cute dorky vines pretty frequently. He has a lot of fun doing it, and actually gains a following of about 6,000 people. Not exactly what you'd call vine famous, but people like him.

One of those 6000 followers is a 21 year old who's lived in the same place his whole life, Arlington Texas. His anxiety has pretty much prohibited him from ever leaving, so he goes to a community college and enjoys Friday nights hanging out with his childhood best friend, Kirstin Maldonado. His name is Mitchell Grassi, and he's a quick-witted homosexual who loves singing and is pretty much loved by everyone who meets him, although he has his own set of insecurities. He's insecure about his physical appearance, his abnormally high pitched voice, and a couple things concerning his personality. He has also come to the conclusion that he is going to die alone, and he has a hopeless crush on the cute blond boy he follows on Vine.

I'm not sure how often I'll update this, because I have a tendency to stray from ideas fairly quickly. But I'll do my best to stick with this one and keep the highest writing quality possible throughout the entire story.

I hope I can do this idea justice and portray it in a way that resonates with you all. But anyway, thanks for reading this in the first place. Love you all.
