Troubled sea so deep
Do you wander
Do you ever not know
Where your next meal will come from
Where will you get a new shirt
Did you leave your house long ago
Left on your own
So they couldn't kick you out
Afraid to go back
And ask for help
Do you ever wander
Maybe not the streets
Of a downtown city
But the the twisting, turning,
Upside down streets
The ones of your mind
Do you ever get lost in there
Find a stream of words
To sit and watch
Do you ever scream at yourself
Where no one can here
While you're there
Are you ever lost
Did you wander to far
And can't find you way back
And you just keep going
Still wandering the streets
Of that downtown city
Wondering
Where in the world
Is Home.
