Ezra's P.O.V

"So your telling us that once a year on Friday the 13th which is supposed to be an unlucky day, is what has been happening to you all day?" Sabine said hiding her speeder bike in an ally with Zeb and mine. "Yep," I said concluded on why I was doing the things I did and they wouldn't stop asking which was annoying.

"Sounds like a bunch of boloney if you ask me," Zeb said. "Well it's the truth," I said and we walked off to find the supplies. "Seriously guys, it happens every year and I'm not the only one either," I said. "Really, then who else?" Zeb said crossing his arms. I pointed to a guy, who was cleaning up some fruits from a crate that randomly broke. "Ezra, that not bad luck, the right word you're looking for is coincidence," Sabine said and walked past me and Zeb.

"What Sabine said," Zeb said and walked past me. "Fine, don't believe me," I said giving upon trying to explain. We walked for a while and getting thing here and there until I spotted something in the middle of the road. I stopped walking and the two looked at me. "Why did you stop?" Sabine asked. "That," I said and pointed to the thing that always does something horrible to me every year.

Sabine and Zeb looked at the object and raised an eyebrow. Sabine walked over and picked it up. "A...........fork?" She said in confusion, "You're afraid of some silver ware?" Zeb laughed and patted my back. I glared at him and said, "It might look harmless but it does something to me every year that awful." Zeb just laughed harder and Sabine started to laugh too. She tossed the fork to me and out of reflexes, I caught it.

I looked at the fork and dropped it in front of me. "Kid, it's just a fork," Zeb said. I glared and picked up the fork. Zeb's right, why was I afraid of a little fork?! I tossed it behind me then looked over my shoulder to see where it was about to land. I watched as it headed towards a fence that held some nexus. The fork hit the fence and I thought my heart stopped when the fence collapsed.

Sabine and Zeb saw the whole thing luckily but the nexus were now free. There were about five of them and everyone around us were smart enough to go into a house. Leaving me, Zeb, and Sabine as the nexus only target. "Now do you believe me," I said backing up with the other two. "Yep," they said in sync while the nexus slowly walked towards us.

"Hey! What's going on?!" The three of us looked over our shoulders to see five stormtroopers were behind us with guns pointed at us. We held our hands up and I looked for someplace to escape. I looked over at a house that was close to us and a plan formed. "I have a plan," I said so only Sabine and Zeb could hear me. "Well you better explain it fast," Sabine said gesturing to the advancing bucketheads and big cats.

"Let's just say, it involves jumping through that window," I said gesturing to the closest window to us. "That's crazy plan!" Zeb quietly yelled. "And it's our only plan," Sabine defended and nodded for me to continue. I suddenly ran to the window and threw a rock making the window shatter. The troopers started to fire and the nexus leaped. Me, Sabine and Zeb all went through the window and ran through the house.

We went out the back door and with our supplies. We quickly hooked up the crates to the bikes and drove off but off course our bikes break down. "No no no no," I muttered trying to start mine with Sabine and Zeb doing the same. "Look!" Sabine said, "Our bikes were messed with." I saw different parts of the bike on the ground.

"Great," Zeb moaned, "now what?" I saw two bikes on the other side of the street. "There's two bikes over there," I said pointing to the bikes. We quickly grabbed our supplies and hooked them up to the bikes. "It looks like me and Sabine have to share a bike," I said smoothly. "Nope," she said, "I don't feel like crashing today, especially when the streets are empty and troopers could appear around corner."

Zeb's big furry hand grabbed the back of my collar and put me in front of him. "Hey," I protested. "Kid, just shut up and don't make us crash into a crate," Zeb muttered and I rolled my eyes. Sabine and Zeb started the bikes and they surprisingly turned on. "Yes," I said and punching my fist in the air then bringing it back making my elbow hit Zeb's stomach.

Zeb let out a painful grunt and started the bike. Let's just say, it didn't end well. The bike me and Zeb were riding may have kinda scratched Sabine's bike. When I mean kinda scratched, I mean we full blown crashed into the back of her bike. "Zeb!" Sabine yelled, "What was that about?!" "The kid elbowed me in the stomach!" Zeb defended. "Ugh! We need to find another way!" Sabine said.

I looked up at Zeb smirking and looking into an imperial ship docking area. I looked in and saw it. I smirked, "So we're getting a new tie-fighter?" Sabine walked over to U.S. And I could tell she was smirking under that helmet of hers. "Get the crates and it looks like we're going to have to make a tight fit," she said. Zeb grabbed the supplies and put them in the ship.

Zeb sat in the pilot's seat while me and Sabine stood on a side of Zeb. I dismantled the tracker in the tie and we took off the ground. Then our luck just ran out the door when a nexu jumped onto the front of the window. "AH!" We all screamed and Zeb tried to blast the thing off but instead destroying everything else in the docking bay. Zeb lifted the tie into the air and tried to shake it off.

The nexu finally lost its grip on the tie and fell to the ground. We flew away with scratched up claw marks on the glass. "Well, we almost died," Zeb said like it was nothing important. "Yep," me and Sabine replied at the same time. "So what are we going to do with the tie?" I asked. "Well of course hide it," Sabine said, "that way I can make some required changes for it." I snorted back a laugh as we flew out of the city to his the tie.

"Specter 2 to specter 4," we heard Hera through Zeb's comm. "Yes?" Zeb asked using one hand to hold the comm and the other to hold the wheel. "Where are you it's getting late?" Hera asked with worry. "Don't worry, we're on our way," Zeb said then we heard Kanan. "What was that sound?" "Uh........well.........you see," Zeb laughed nervously. "Zeb," Hera warned, "Was that a tie-fighter?" "Maybe," he said laughing a little.

"Garazeb Orrelios!" Hera shouted through the comm making us all flinch. Then Kanan's voice came through, "Is Ezra and Sabine with you?" "Yeah," Zeb said and we could almost see the spot to hide the tie. "You all better destroy it or else," Hera warned then the link went dead. "We're not going to destroy it are we?" Sabine said. Me and Zeb smirked at each other as Zeb landed the tie.

"Wow, that was actually a pretty smooth ride from what we've experienced today," I said. "Don't jinx it, kid," Sabine said and Zeb gently set the tie onto the ground. When Zeb landed it something went wrong and the ship shook before stopping. "What was that?" I asked. "Let's not stick around in here and find out," Zeb said. Me and Sabine agreed and we all got out.

We walked a bit away from the tie them looked to see what was wrong. Both panels bent and made the tie smaller. "Huh," Zeb said then shrugged, "oh well, it's just a scratch. No biggie." After Zeb said that, the tie crumbled into a million pieces. "More like a scrap pile," Sabine said, "oh well, the Empire can have it back as a thank you for 'borrowing it.'" She air quoted around 'borrowing it.' "Come on, let's get home before we see a butterfly," Zeb said, "I ain't dealing with a tornado."

The sun was setting as we made our way back to the Ghost with most of the supplies. When we got back, Hera said that our punishment was to put all the supplies away tomorrow. The three of us had a long day and went to bed. When my face hit the pillow, I was out like a light.
