UFC Comes to ESPN

A week later, Travis gets better but my stomach gets into a really bad knot. I have to interview Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey. two of the best in the UFC. I'm driving in my car when I think about The Fast and the Furious and the impact the movie has on me! I arrive at the studio and get out of my car. I'm in my office thinking about the interviews and I get nervous. Ronda is known for her Judo Toss and Conor is known for his massive ego. I breathe deep and I get ushered to the interview area of the studio. My hands start to shake out of nerves. I rub them together to calm them down. As I sit and wait, the hair and makeup crew get me ready. I'm in shock as Conor and Ronda arrive at the studio. An hour later, the UFC fighters sit on the interview stools. The interviews start and all my nerves go away. I look at Conor and I ask him about his match with Nick Diaz. The questions go back and forth from Ronda to Conor. As the show cuts to a break, Ronda and Conor ask me to hang out with them! I totally freak out and answer so fast that I didn't know that we were back on the air. As I laugh at the situation, Ronda and Conor teach me some moves to protect myself with. I get a Judo Toss lesson and I practice on a tackling dummy outside the studio. As the work day is done, I smile and write my blog. As i'm writing I get a group message from Travis and Rob.

Vanessa, you have a lot of class when interviewing Conor and Ronda today! The sports world is so proud of you! How are you feeling after that judo toss?

Travis, that judo toss hurt! My neck might be sore for a week. I have a bag of ice on it!

Ouch! Travis and I want to know if you're doing anything after the fight?

I am. Conor and Ronda invited me to the UFC After Party. I might meet the cast of a movie series I <3

I see how things go! We're supposed to do the Treats photo shoot with Larry and Nicole at 1!

Omg! I told ESPN I would be at Staples Center at 1! :o I'll group chat, Larry and Nicole!

Hey Larry and Nicole, I have some bad news!

What's up?

I won't be able to make the Treats photo shoot tomorrow because ESPN has me covering UFC!

We saw the interview with Conor and Ronda. That judo toss looked painful are you okay?

I'm fine a sore neck was the only thing I suffered! I'm so sorry I won't be able to make the shoot.

I asked the Treats team if we can postpone it until Friday and the team said sure!

I have work in the morning but i'll hire an intern to face my work that day!

What about that kid from Bute?

Not happening, Nicole! I want an intern who has the same amount of passion for sports as me!

A lot of people from USC, UCLA, UCB, SSU and beyond want an internship with you! I would <3 to be in your shoes right now!

I would like to hire an intern for the days I have a lot of stuff to do! He or she will have to do a tiny coffee run! I would like to interview all my intern choices at the studio

I wish I could apply for the job ;)
