A week later, I am in Los Angeles and back at work. I'm sitting in my office thinking about the two weeks I spent in Kansas City. I'm spinning in my chair and Cassie's face shows up on my computer and I stop my chair. I smile and we talk. Cassie tells me that she and Sidney are doing great. I tell Cassie that I was in Kansas City for two weeks. An hour later, I get into my car to get to a venue. As I drive I hear a song.
