Meeting the Blue Blur

Regular P.O.V

When I came out from out of the forest, I started to see some houses or huts in sight . I stopped walking for a while to think about the plan going through my head, "Hmm maybe there are some mobians staying here." I said as I continued to walk again passing some more homes.

Then I stopped once more, "Wait a minute...did egghead even give me a plan to follow through!?" I sighed pinching my nose. Just great!

 I have to do all the work...

"I heard they were freedom fighters, maybe I can join them? Gotta make my story believable." I said to myself as I saw a workshop coming in my eyesight.

"Oh, a workshop maybe I can ask them," I said happily as I jogged inside. Looking around I noticed some blueprints scattered on the tables here and there, some tools, and an airplane?!

"Sonic is that you?" said a young voice. So there is someone here...but who would leave a kid behind here?! 

Then walked in a yellow two-tailed fox with blue eyes looking around the age of 8 or 9 years old. He wore goggles above his head and leather brown utility belt around his waist. "Oh you're not sonic, who are you do you need help with anything?" He said while going over to his work table straightening up the blueprints.

I heard what he said but his chest fur...I just want to touch it....but back to where I was! Well remembering what Eggman said he wanted me to gain Sonic's trust so I can't ask him where Sonic is he will get to ask more questions then maybe found out I'm working for Eggman so a quick lie is in order.

"Oh, I was just looking for a way to become a freedom fighter--"  

"Sonic! There you are!" , interrupted the kitsune as he ran past me to give a high five to the blue hedgehog.

'Well, that was rude!' I thought in my head pouting.

"I've contacted you through your communicator about an hour ago!" The fox scolded him.

"Heh, sorry Tails that nap was the best I ever had. The tree was so comfortable I could have slept up there for hours." Said the blue hedgehog stretching his arms.

"Well, now you're here I have a guest that wants to join the freedom fighters!" Tails said grinning.

"Oh really?" he said turning his sight onto me.

I could feel myself freeze up in his green gaze, "U-uh, yeah! It was always my dream to be one and fight alongside the sonic team!" I said with a grin.

Sonic P.O.V

Hmm, this (favorite species) wants to become a freedom fighter? There's only one way to find out.

I walked up to her in a judging manner and folded my arms over my chest, "If you really want to become a freedom fighter. Ya gotta pass my quiz and go under some serious training. Just by looking at ya, you seem like I can easily catch ya off guard."

"Wha?"

Before she got to say anything, swiftly and quickly I swept her feet out from under her, "Oof! Hey!"

I stared down at her with a grin, "Yeah, you lack focus." I held out my hand to herm she hesitated but then took my hand as I helped her up, "Lack of strength. Lack of speed." I looked at her more closely, "Hmm, lack of personality."

"Sonic, that's a bit harsh." Tails said to me.

"Quiet Tails! I have to see what her answer is to this question, Do you like chili dogs? If so, have you ever tried one?" I asked her.

She looked at me in a confused state then looked over at tails then back at me, "Um, I-I never tried one..."

I stared at her more intently and then grinned, "Hah! I'm just messing with ya. But if you want to become a freedom fighter. You're gonna need training. This is how the order goes: Me, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Sally, Espio, Silver, Blaze, and Shadow. You can choose either of us to be your mentor to help train you."

Then tails stood beside me with a smile, "First thing is for you to try out is which one is your best skill. Like your strengths and weaknesses. For example, Sonic's strength is his speed and his weakness is water."

"TAILS!!!" I yelled but he ignored me and continued.

"We want to know what you want to go for like: Speed, Strength, Stealth, Ninjutsu, Gadget maker, Flexibility, Karate, Chaos energy, Fire, or Psychokinesis. Something like that. I know it's a lot but we're gonna have to test your abilities." 

"Like my buddy tails said, we're gonna see what ya can do. But uh sorry, what's your name?"

The (f/s) sighed, "My name is (Y/n) the (f/s). It's nice to meet you both."

"Ugh, she speaks so polite. It weirds me out." I whispered to tails.

"I am very sorry." she said looking to the side.

I pointed my finger at her accusingly grumbling.

"Sonic, maybe it's the way how she talks. Don't make fun her, show her around for a bit. Introduce her to our friends and when you're done come see me."

"Righto little buddy! C'mon (Y/n) I'll race ya! Wait...sorry you might be too slow."

Regular P.O.V

I felt my eye twitch in annoyance, 'This damn hedgehog...'
