(This is just a draft and won't be in the actual thing)

Quinn raised an eyebrow as he heard two voices downstairs. There was Nana's, obviously, but then one higher, more... annoying voice.
A teenage girl. Quinn scowled.
What business did she have in his house?
Great. Just what we needed: company. B shook their head and groaned. She won't stop talking either.
"Quinn?" The boy gave an exasperated sigh and headed out his room, being sure to take his time on the staircase.
He was fine until he reached the bottom and stumbled over a shoe.
"Ah, sorry, sorry!" The girl. The object was quickly moved out the way. "I guess I should have been more mindful of the person living here-"
"I'm blind, not stupid." Quinn snapped, the temper in his stomach rising up and into his mouth, coming out sharply through his tongue. Nana tapped the top of his right hand. Be nice.
"Quinn, this is Angela. Angela, Quinn."
"Angie works too, I suppose." She giggled lightly and Quinn very nearly dragged her shoe back so he could trip over it again. He suddenly noted the silence and put his hand out gingerly before swiftly drawing it back, as if he had touched a serpent.
"You really are stupid."
"Quinn!" Nana sighed. "C'mon, really-"
"She expected a blind person to shake a hand that they couldn't see."
"She has a name."
"And I doubt I'll use it anytime soon." He, reluctantly, focused his attention back onto the girl. "Why are you here?"
"Well, um... Miss said I could stay here for a while, while my-"
"No, stop." Back to Nana. "Stop."
"Quinn..." She had a warning tone in her voice, but Quinn barely took note of it.
"No... no. I'm not..." He almost laughed. "No way!"
"You were going to have to interact with others some day-"
"No one said anything about living with them. If she can't even keep a shoe away from a staircase, then imagine how much more harm she could do."
"Relax. Angela's only staying for the summer." Quinn's mood plummeted to the inner core of the Earth and his tone was flat.
"Right. That makes it sooo much better." The girl perked up.
"Heh, I guess you're not one for socialising, huh?" Quinn stared back in disgust.
"Oh, shut up."
"Quinn! Come on now, go to your room and calm yourself down!" The boy muttered something under his breath and marched back upstairs. He stopped briefly at the top to hear the conversation.
"...there's a spare room across from the bathroom. No one uses it, so you're free to stay there." He crashed down the stairs, his footsteps fiercer than ever.
"That room... is not spare." Nana sighed again.
"Quinn, no one-"
"I do! It's my room!"
"Oh, your room? Sorry, sorry, I can find somewhere else to sleep-"
"Quinn..." He dreaded the wavering silence before Nana spoke up again. "I know what you mean. I know how much you like that room. But Angela needs somewhere to sleep and-"
"What's wrong with the couch?"
"Quinn, be reasonable. For the whole summer? Besides, doesn't it seem a bit strange for a guest to come to a house with a free, spare room and sleep on the downstairs couch?" Quinn's tone went from enraged to embarrassingly childish.
"But it's not-"
"Do it in your room, alright?" He opened his mouth to protest, but Nana stopped him. "Try."
The teenager, without even being able to see, gave the girl a malignant glare before storming back up the stairs and into his room. He slammed the door with full force behind him and collapsed onto his bed.
This was going to suck.
Haha I haven't written for a long time ._.
