"I can't believe Hagrid is part giant!" Ron was like most in the wizard of community and had grown up knowing giants as dangerous freaks. Hagrid isn't dangerous, but to think I'd given a half giant the chance to kill me in first year... how stupid of a kid was I?

"It isn't all that surprising. I mean, look at him!" Harry didn't have much of a problem with Hagrid's mother being a giantess, but saw that Ron looked as if he'd seen a spider as they walked back into the castle. Not all giants can be that bad a Hagrid has proven his loyalty, so why does Ron mind so much? "Don't dwell on it, Ron, just get back in there and show Hermione a good time. Instantly Harry had knew he'd said the right thing as Ron's face lit up and he ran ahead, into the Great Hall.

That was a cop out, wasn't it? I should have known! My father taught me better than this! Draco was leaning up against the wall in the entrance hall with his face in his hands. Suddenly, he heard loud footsteps coming and instinctually grasped the wand in his pocket, but when awaiting the enemy he only saw Ron run past and into the Great Hall like a bat out of hell. What's Weasley running so fast for? He didn't even take up the chance to give me a dirty look. Draco pulled his hand away from his wand and out his face back into his hand when he heard loud footsteps again. "Weasley, can't you stop running from the halls like Crabbe from a test? Draco yelled, but when he looked up he only saw Harry walking towards him so confused that his eyebrow looked if it went any higher it'd fall of his face. "Oh, Harry, hello!"

"Hello?" Harry slowly stepped forward, still worried that Draco was not in his right mind, but then realized he was being petty. "What're you doing out here all alone?"

"Avoiding Pansy. It's not everyday the boy you took to the dance leaves you for the chosen one so I'm avoiding seeing her." Draco got off of the wall and started walking towards Harry. Once he was less than an arms length apart, he grabbed Harry's hand firmly, but gently invade the boy wanted to pull away. "Although she's not a Ravenclaw, if she has an ounce of sense in her she'll stay out of our way." Draco pulled Harry into the room with ease considering Harry's thin physique and pulled him through the room, but suddenly he felt Harry's hand a pull away and turned around to see Harry staring intently at an argument happening half way across the room.

"The boy's a joke, Hermowninny! I've heard about his family and I know vot they're all about! He's not original, his parents made plenty like him! But I am original and I care much about you than, Veasley! Krum shouted at Hermione with deep disgust in his voice.  Hermione barely looked at him and there was a tear rolling down her cheek.

"You don't talk to her like that!" Ron had shown up form grabbing Hermione a drink and was not pleased with the bit of Krum's lecture he'd heard. No boys talk to her like that when I'm around! Especially not the enemy! Ron stepped in between Hermione and Krum, straightened himself and looked at Krum as if Krum was under him despite being taller. "You can say whatever you want about me, but you don't insult Hermione or my entire family!" Ron's eyes narrowed, as did Krum's and suddenly Krum had his wand out and pointed at Ron's neck.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled and Krum's wand fell from his hand. Harry stepped next to Ron and they both glared at him. Harry pocketed his wand all but a little to soon as Krum bent down to grab his wand again, but as he did that another yell sounded from across the room.

"Accio wand!" Krum's wand flew from his hand and everyone turned to see a very smug Draco now holding two wands. Maybe Durmstrang really isn't everything I expected. "You think I'm useless, do you? Draco yelled.

"N-no— er— why?" Krum said and was obviously as confused as Ron, Hermione and Harry.

"Well, you must take me for a fool if you think I'll stand here as you attacked my love and his friends!" Draco yelled and heard a gasp from right behind him which turned out to be Pansy. This boy has got five seconds to run before I make him regret ever being born! 5-4-3-2-

Krum ran off leaving Ron stunned. "I'm your love? Ouch!" Suddenly Ron felt someone strike him in the back of the head. He turned to see Hermione and made an apologetic look to her. I guess she knows more than I do even when it comes to love.

Harry felt the blood rushing to his cheeks, once again and broke out into a sprint, soon landing in Draco's arms. He nearly knocked over Draco, but Harry hardly noticed and squeezed Draco as hard as he could, with his face leaning against his chest. His heartbeat is the most beautiful music I've heard all night. Harry couldn't help, but smile brightly as he nearly broke Draco's back.

Draco was taken aback, but pleased at this form of thanking and wrapped his arms around Harry, making sure not to squeeze as hard. He lauded a kiss upon the top of Harry's head and then let his head lay upon Harry's. I don't think I'll ever forget this moment. These past three and a half years have all led to this. " I love you, Harry Potter." Draco whispered softly, letting the world fade away and feeling as if it was only Harry and him in the room.

Ron saw that Hermione was touched by this and felt slightly angry the she'd never mentioned she'd knew. Why am I always the one in the dark? "You could've mentioned that those two were in love!"

"I knew as much as you did!" Hermione snapped back which made Ron feel bad.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry." Ron raised his hand and brushed Hermione's cheek to remove the remaining tears. This is not how I saw tonight going, but this has been the best night of my life. "I always knew that git wasn't good enough for you, Hermione." Ron didn't remove his hand, but stared lovingly into her eyes and slowly lowered his face near hers. I'll go slow so she can pull away and I won't be forcing her. But just as Ron thought this, Hermione quickly grabbed his shirt and pulled their lips together. Both closed their eyes and forgot about the world around them.
