Next day Lacey went back to Grannys. She didnt like to talk a lot with the people there since they all treat her in a rude way.

"Morning Lacey" Ruby said looking at her smiling trying to be nice

"Morning..." Lacey responded quietly looking up to her and slightly showing a small smile.

Granny suddenly entered from the back door "Morning everyone. I need everyones attention please" She walked to the middle of the restaurant and looked around "Im sorry to be the one bringing the bad news but we had to short your payment this month so here it is..." she said walking around giving everyone his payment

"But I can barely pay the rent of my apartment with this..." Lacey said looking at the money

One guy that worked there approached and looked to her "sorry for that sweetheart" he said close to her ear and then chuckled going back to the kitchen

Granny started yelling telling everyone to start working 'cause the place was about to be opened. Lacey put her work clothes on at the restroom. She walked to the front seeing some people coming in when suddenly her eyes found once more Mr Gold walking inside the dinner.

He walked to Grannys again asking for another coffee, he disliked going to that place but he only did it to see Belle. He didnt care if he had to drink the same old coffee everyday. While he waited for his coffee he watched Belle taking orders from other people as he smiled enjoying her presence.

Lacey went to the kitchen grabbing some napkings from the shelves when suddenly the same man that talked to her that morning pinched her butt. She inmediatly slapped his face but before she could go away the man grabbed her hand rudly not letting her go. There was no one else in the kitchen and no one could see them frm outside. Lacey tried to escape but it was useless she couldnt move. She started to shiver afraid of what could happen next. The guy was way bigger than her and he could definitly hurt her. She couldnt scream either even if she tried too. She was froze staring at the guy with fear in her eyes.
Suddenly seconds later someone knocked the guy out by hitting his head with a cane. When he fell to the floor Lacey looked up seeing the person who had saved her was Mr Gold. She scoffed not believing her eyes.

"You... you saved me..." she said in a soft tone staring at him

He nodded looking at the guy at the floor with a slight frown in anger "he didnt hurt you did he?" He asked worried

"No... Im fine" she assured still looking at Mr Gold "Thank you..."

"You dont need to thank me..." he said in a soft tone remembering she didnt knew who he really was and got depress about it. He though for a second and got a sudden idea. He didnt wanted to let her go again and she saw him as a hero now so he didnt wanted to waste that opportunity. "Lacey..."

"Yes?" She asked in a hopeful tone. She wanted to get to know him now and spend some time with him to actually know if he was the monster everyone though he was.

"Do you have anything to do this night?" He said stepping closer with a slight smile.

She scoffed again but this time she smiled "are... are you asking me to go on a date with you?"

He chuckled "depending on what you mean by a date..."

She smiled pressing her lips together "when and where?" She asked happily

"At eight at the park?" He suggested

"Uhm sure... I'll see you at eight then..." she said walking out with the napkings a little nervous. She didnt wanted to have any kind of relation with him but she did wanted to know him.

He walked outside after taking his coffee and looking back at her once more. He then walked outside going to his shop.

She turned to see him once he walked out of Grannys hearing the doorbell asking to herself 'Who is he and what has he done with the Mr Gold we all know...?'
