Dear Paul and Linda.

Thank you for your condolences. They have been appreciated greatly by me and Sean. To see a mere thing, like a paper card, fly up into one's heart and make them a light in a time of darkness is a thing that is rare to find in life. Rare things are the most heartbreaking and satisfying things in life. With the two of you, I have found one of these said things. Peace is another, and for the moment, there is a strong gust of peace in the air, washing over all of us, even as grief does the same. With condolences, that peace is magnified, made stronger so. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for spreading the peace the world so desperately needs.
