The following day I was awoken by the harsh sunlight, I get up and squint my eyes as I sit up
"It's weird not hearing cars drive by, it's so quite"
I hear the phone ring downstairs and run to go answer it
"Hello?" I answered nervously
"Hello, (Y/N). . ."
"Mom!" I yelled and bit too loud
"You must be excited, How are you doing (Y/N)?"
"I'm sorry I'm just happy to hear your voice and I'm fine. How about you? Are you out of the hospital?"
"Yes I'm fine and I'll be leaving in a few days but don't worry about me, worry about yourself"
"Okay, but can I ask you something"
"Of course what is it?"
"How did you guys find this place?"
"Dad's assistant owns the house you're in right now, oh (Y/N) I have to go the doctor just came in. I'll call you later"
"Okay, bye mom"
I hang up and go back up stairs to lay down and look up at the ceiling
I close my eyes and remember what Yamato said to me last night
"I should return his lunch box" I said and walk downstairs to wash it
I go back up stairs to change and back down grabbing the lunch box and putting on my shoes
I open the door to find Yamato about to knock
"Good morning (Y/N)"
I accidently dropped the lunch box on the floor
"Y-yamato don't scare me like that" I said while picking up the lunch box
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" he says "Were you about to go out?"
"Yes, I was about to return this to you" I hold out the lunch box
"Thank you" he says and grabs it
"Um I don't want to be rude but why are you here?" I asked
"Well I wanted to ask you if you wanted to hang out later, we can go to the city and show you around a bit"
I hesitate a bit, I've only known him for less then a day I can't let my guard down for a bit
"Hello?"
"Oh, y-yeah I would like that"
"Great, I'll be back later then"
He smiles and starts to walk away, I close the door and sigh
"Can I really trust him? Damn, I really wish I could call Aoi. . ."
I get back up and walk to the kitchen, I open the fridge to see there is very little food
"I should of told him if we could go now. . ."
I walk up stairs to my room and open my backpack, I started to search for something to do
"Oh, I forgot I bought some manga" I start to search for my favorite manga
"Here it is, (Favorite Manga). I'm glad I brought these along, now I won't too bored"
I lay down and start to read the manga I have already read so many time, I already know what happens but for some reason I don't get bored of it
Thankfully the time passed really fast while reading and I forgot about Yamato until I heard someone knocking on the door
I run downstairs and open the door to see him there
"Are you ready?" He asks
"Yes!"
"Okay now it might be a little uncomfortable but maybe in town we can buy you a bike"
"What?"
He moves a bit and I see he bought a bike
"Oh, wait I almost forgot something" I run upstairs to get some money from the envelope, hopefully it's enough
I run back down stairs and lock the door once out
I see Yamato already on the bike he smiles and signals me to come over
"Okay you can sit behind me and wrap your hands around me so you won't fall"
"Eh, um. . ." I felt my face heat up
This is embarrassing, I've never rode on a bike with anyone.
I slowly but surely get on the bike and nervously wrap my arms around his waist
"Here" he grabs my arms and makes me hold him tighter "there, so you won't fall"
"Now let's go!" He starts of slowly then he starts to increase in speed, I grab him tighter scared from falling off
"Are you okay?" He says
"Y-yeah" I shut my eyes
He's going way too fast!
I open my eyes and see the town from become small every second
After 20 minutes of intense speed we finally make it to town and Yamato slows down
"We are here" he says and makes a complete stop and I jump off the bike "Now where do you want to go?" He asks
My stomach starts to grumble "Somewhere to eat, I didn't eat breakfast and now I'm really hungry"
"Okay then, we'll go eat them I'll show you around where everything it"
I nod and we start to walk to the nearest restaurant. While walking for some reason I felt uneasy like if someone was watching me
"Hey are you alright?" Yamato snaps me out of my thoughts
"Y-yes, why would you ask that?"
"You are walking very slow and you look nervous"
"Oh, I'm fine just hungry that's all"
"Okay well we are almost there" he says I nod and start to keep pace with him
Hopefully this feeling of being watched is noting more than just a feeling
