Ruby Red

I don't get it. Why would anyone be this cruel and the worst is, he's my best friend.

I wanted to go somewhere. Some place that's going to be nothing but only me.

"Ruby?"

"I don't want to talk yet"

"Arf arf!"

Wait. That's not human, or maybe I'm just hallucinating. There can't be dogs in here.

"Arf arf!"

And then as I turned around, Jasper placed down a small box and let the little puppy get out and came running towards me.

It's a Pomeranian puppy! It's such a cutie. Small but really looks awesome.

"Uh, Ruby, you should name her"

"I shall name her Scarlet"

Oops, why the hell would I name my dog my stage name! God, Jasper looked ash stricken.

"S-s-scarlet?"

"Yeah, is there something wrong with the name? Besides, scarlet is a shade of red too so basically this dog is a part of me. Right Scarlet?"

"Arf arf!"

"I like her clothes Jasper"

"Yea and also here's her dog food and extra clothes and shoes, and her bed's here too and a hand-carry bag if you want to take her out, her shampoos, conditioner, cologne and meds are inside this pouch too"

"Arf arf!"

"Hush, Scarlet! You're so noisy"

And then as if she did really understand what I said, she turned into a really even more cutie.

"Uh, Jasper, what's the dog for?"

"A gift"

You're lying. I see your hand twitched and body felt unrelaxed in that slight nanosecond you heard my question.

"A peace offering?"

"That too" see?

"Thanks Jasper" truly.

I brought Scarlet to my bed and petted her to sleep. She really looks cute and heartwarming.

James came in after a moment

"Whoa, so what's the name?"

"Scarlet"

"Whoa, Jasper did really love that name no wonder he named that dog Scarlet too. Maybe he thought of Scarlet on that dog, he surely misses her so you better take care of Scarlet though"

"What do you mean? I named this dog myself and that Scarlet, it's a her? A human her?"

"Jasper's been looking for Scarlet a long time but his plans of searching got just all delayed because of his tasks for you know who"

"Is it a human?"

"We're not sure but we saw her hair flick of Red, so we assume she's one of yours though. Perhaps, we could ask of Fabian if he knows Scarlet"

"Oh. No need, I'll just inform him though"

Please don't tell me that it's me.

"Really? You would do that?"

"Uh, yea. Besides, it's my job too."

"Thanks!"

"Uh, where did you saw this Scarlet girl so we could demand an investigation if she's really a part of us"

"Oh, it's in a bar, um E-e-exotica something like that."

God, it's really me. This is crazy. How can I be so stupid? Of course Ruby, boys would go in a bar! I must not let anyone of them go into that bar.

"Hey! Don't think of us that way, Jasper has just really got problems that's why he went into that bar. Luckily, this Scarlet girl was so nice for him and helped him get through and she doesn't demand for a payment. She must be really nice though"

God, I remembered.

"Your birthday's this week right?" to trying stir away the topic.

"Uh, yea. I was planning to go to North America and see if I can visit my old dad"
