Cliches in Kpop || Book 1

Kpop Siblings

- the sibling is ALWAYS a girl, because brothers do not exist in fanfiction apparently
(I have only seen one fanfic where the sibling is a boy but it hasn't been updated in a while)

- these fanfics are more common for boy groups

- the cover is always some random Korean girl with either her brother or the idol she starts dating

- the sister is always younger, never a noona to the idol, maybe a noona for a band member but not her brother

- the sister will live in the dorm with the members, so a teenage girl living with a bunch of perverted males (and don't even start saying that I'm being rude or whatever because I have proof y'all know they can be perverts)

- the girl ends up dating a member

- either that or an idol from another group

- the girl will get amnesia due to some accident and forget her famous boyfriend and if the girl is a foreigner she forgets how to speak Korean

- usually this accident is caused by some jealous fan, rival at school, or trainee

- usually the idol never knew he had a sister, or hid her from everyone until the parent sends her to live with said idol

- If her brother is Sehun she is obsessed with bubble tea

- the sister immediately becomes a trainee after being discovered because she is talented
Not all idols' siblings have to be talented in some type of art, like why not make him/her sporty or just a normal person

- if the sister is a foreigner, she usually doesn't know Korean and later teaches the members how to speak her foreign language, unless her idol brother is Korean

- if the idol is aware of his sister, however, she is hidden in another country or ignored by said idol

- she always gets her period in an unfortunate time and for some reason can't run or leave the house without freaking out

- sister is always terrified of hate messages from fans
