If you don't know who Kim Jonghyun is, I'll explain:
Jonghyun was a beautiful human being who was an amazing singer for the group SHINee. He was really talented and a pure soul.

Yesterday evening, (December 18, 2017 in Korea), Kim Jonghyun died after committing suicide.
A couple days before, he was getting ready for a solo comeback. Those who worked with him said nothing was suspicious about his behavior, making his suicide even more of a shock.
All the police know so far is that he texted his sister with a suicide message. Telling her that it was his final goodbye and such. She called the police for him, but when they got to the place Jonghyun was at he was unconscious.
No one is sure yet what he had done, but it is a confirmed suicide.
If you don't know, SHINee is my second favorite group in Kpop. Jonghyun was actually my first bias, and was my bias wrecker ever since I settled with Key as my bias.
I had found out the news at school, when a girl came up to me and showed me her phone screen containing this:

I couldn't believe it. This man, who always seemed so happy, died. I couldn't accept it at first, but then the girl and I along with some others at lunch found out that SM has recently released an official statement, and that he is really dead.
If you want to pay your respects if you don't live in Korea (I hear there is a venue for fans to mourn) then go to one of the 10 hashtags trending on twitter. Also, change all your profile pictures to complete white for the next few days. All fandoms are doing this to unite and mourn Jonghyun
I was shaking, I couldn't cry because I was so confused. It's been hours since I found out and I'm still shaking and can barely type.
Please be respectful to the members of SHINee, they feel an even bigger pain then we do.

Please take mental health seriously. Don't put pressure on idols or hate on a group, because things like this happen. Do not joke about suicide, because it can lead to something serious like this.
If you are suffering, please get help! You are not alone, and there are probably so many people that care about you. Think about all the people that would be affected by your death. There are so many ways to stop suffering, suicide shouldn't be your first option.
