Dwts 23 : Laurie and Val : Switch up week

Chapter 2: Finals week

Val's Pov: It is the last week of season 23 and I am excited because I will be able to spend time with my Pregnant Girlfriend without having to worry about winning or losing.

Laurie and I are currently rehearsing for our redemption Paso doble and it is going really good, it's the first day of rehearsals for the week and Laurie is already perfecting the dance.

We decided to end our rehearsal early today because we have already done a lot today and I want Laurie to rest because I don't want her to hurt herself or our unborn child

We head back to the apartment that I share with Mak's and after about 10 minutes of driving we get home and walk through the front door and Mak's probably heard the door shut because soon he was coming down the stairs

" Hey Val " He says to me giving me a pat on the shoulder and goes to give Laurie a hug

" Hey Laurie, How is the pregnancy going?" Mak's asked Laurie

" It's been going good, I am really grateful that I don't have morning sickness " She tells him and we walk into the living room

" Laurie why don't you go get a shower and Val can help me get dinner on the table and then we can go get showers and then we can eat" Mak's suggests and I am quickly to agree with Mak's

Mak's Pov: Val and I are getting dinner set up but I have a lot of questions that I have been dying to ask him but he is busy when I went to ask him, but now I can ask him and he is perfectly free answer them

" Val , I have a question for you and it is about the baby" I tell him

" What is it?" He asks me

" Do you and Laurie know the gender of your baby?" I ask him

" Yes we do" He tells me as a he starts to smile

" Well, are you going to tell me?" I ask my little brother

" We are having a baby..... Girl" He tells me and I am really happy

" Good luck with the boys that are going to be interested in your daughter" I tell him

" I am definitely not looking forward to guys being interested in my daughter but I will tell her from an early age that all little boys are evil" He tells me with a evil looking smile

" And if that doesn't work then call the Calvary " I tell him sarcastically

After about 45 minutes Laurie, Val and I have had our showers have eaten dinner and we are now in the living room watching a movie and about an hour into the movie I look over at Val and Laurie and I found them asleep together on the couch.

Val was laying on his back and his arms were securely around Laurie's waist and her head was on his chest along with her hand.

They really are an adorable couple. They are an adorable Couple that are going to be fantastic parents to their unborn baby girl.

I can't wait until I am an uncle to my little brothers daughter, I can't wait to scare off boys, and I certainly can't wait until I get to be the best uncle that I can be to this baby girl.

MONDAY NIGHT DAY 2 FINALE RESULTS

We found out that Calvin and Lindsay took 3rd place and now it is just Laurie and Val and James and Sharna still standing in the competition

" The champions and winners of dancing with the stars season 23 are .......................... LAURIE AND VAL!!!" Tom announces and I run up to them.and wrap them in a hug

After about an hour we are all on the plane to go to Gma and I couldn't be happier. I am going to be an uncle, Val and Laurie won . My life is almost complete and it will be fully complete when I get to see / hold my niece.

I am really excited for the future.
