Echo's POV

After dad dropped me off I hurried over to the entrance of the small house, knocked on the door which was open a minute later by an elderly man in a wheelchair who I assume is Billy Black.

"Echo is that really you?" Billy question with a smile on his face.

"Heck yeah Billy it's great to see you" I responded enthusiastically with a smile.

"Well I assume you didn't just come to talk to little old me, Jacob and bella are in the garage with some of Jacobs friends." Billy told me. I gave him a smile as I thanked him before hurrying over to the garage. Upon opening the door as quietly as possible I hurried over to bella jumping on her back in covering her eyes with my hands.

"Guess who Bella-boo!" I replied still on her back.

"Echo oh my god what are you doing here!" She yelled happily as she detached me from her back, only to pull me into a bone crushing hug.

"Hey big sis I'm not going anywhere but if you keep squeezing me I might!" I respond, making everyone in the garage laugh, looking over at our companions Bella takes it as her time to introduce them all.

"Echo this is Jacob black, and his friends Quill and Embry, guys this is my sister Echo." I smile at everyone and we exchange hello's.

"So what are you doing here and why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Bella questioned while mock crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well Bells, mom finally let me get out of the hell hole some call Phoenix to come here, and you didn't know because I wanted to surprise you!" I exclaim dramatically, making everyone laugh again. Eventually we settle into an easy conversation and they ask me questions about my life, I like all the boys, they seem like people I would want to hangout, and they enjoy my sarcasm which is a plus. Watching Bella interact with Jake I couldn't help but smile because it was quite obvious he liked her, and she was clueless to it. Embry caught me staring and motioned for for both of us to head outside, which we did.

"So Jake likes Bella" I stared bluntly while raising an eyebrow. He laughed at my statement before agreeing with the statement, we walked for a while longer talking about the simplest things. I sighed in content as I loved around the green wonderland. Embry smiled at me and I returned the gesture before heading back in a happy silence.

"So we should hangout sometime like a date or something if you want I mean we could just go as friends it you want?" Embry suggested and I couldn't help but let out a tiny giggle as I looked at him, he was looking down awkwardly from his rambling.

"Oh um I'd like to hangout, but probably just as friends for now, seeing as I've only lived here for like a few hours." I stated with a small smile, while Embry laughed and all the awkwardness disappeared.

Walking back up to the garage I smiled at Bella before saying my goodbyes to my new friends and heading with my sister up to her car.

"So did you and Embry have a nice walk, I think he's into you?" Bella asked, I laughed at her.

"Yah whatever you say Bella-boo." I laugh then ask her questions about her school and friends.

"So what about you? Did you find anyone here who tickles your fancy?" I asked while twirling a piece of my long dark hair between my fingers, raising an eyebrow. Bella seems to hesitate and I can sense the tension, so I quickly put a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey if you don't want to talk about it that's fine, but if your ready than I promise you, you can tell me absolutely everything and I won't judge, and it'll never leave this room." I quickly said looking into her eyes as though willing her to talk. So she did, Bella told me all about Edward and there family of vampires, she told me about how he saved her from the car crash, how her blood was almost irresistible to her, she told me about the hunt with James, and finally about her birthday, she told me how bad she was after they left, but thankfully she's getting back up on her feet. Looking her in the eye I pulled my sister in for a hug and she cried for a while, I just kept murmuring things to her, holding her close. After a while we both pulled back and smile.

"I love you Bella-boo your so strong, know that." I said.

"I love you so much Co, thank you for everything." She responded and we both smiled again before I left her room, climbing the necessary stairs and going to bed.
