JUSTIN'S POV
I woke up in the morning to see Jen asleep beside me. She looked so peaceful and beautiful when she was sleeping. I slowly removed my hands from around her waist but she must've noticed because she woke up. "Justin?" she asked.
"Yes Shawty?" I replied.
"Is the power back on yet?"
"I don't know, I'll check." I walked over to the light switch and flicked it on and off a few times. Nothing. "Nope."
"So what do you want to do?"
"We could do this," I replied while walking over to her, pulling her closer, and kissing her.
"Justin!" my mom walked in and yelled. I quickly pulled away from Jen and looked up at my mom.
"What? I was bored."
Jen giggled and then said,"Yes, he was very bored."
"Mom, we didn't do anything more than kiss. I promise."
"I guess I believe you. And you can have cereal for breakfast, I put the milk in cooler so it wouldn't go bad."
"Crap! I have my driver's test today!" Jen exclaimed.
"That reminds me. Jen your mom called and said that she had your driver's test rescheduled because you weren't home. And they're not doing tests for a few days because of the roads."
"Okay."
"That means you still get to ride to school with me," I said with a smirk.
"That's a plus... I guess."
My mom walked out of the room and I leaned back in to kiss Jen. She backed away. "Aye, what's wrong?"
"I'm hungry."
"One more kiss and then we'll go to the kitchen."
"Nope," she said while popping the "p" and running out of my room.
"Babe, you know I'm faster than you!" I ran out, picked her up by the waist, and spun her around.
She screamed and yelled, "Justin! Put me down! Now!"
"Kiss me first!" I told her while smirking.
"Fine," she sighed while giving me a peck on the lips. I put her down and then the lights flickered on and off and then stayed on.
"I'm not in the mood for cereal. Let's go out for breakfast," I suggested.
"I think you forgot that I don't have any clean clothes or my tooth brush and everything else."
"We'll just go through the drive through at Mcdonald's."
"Okay."
"Mom!" I yelled down the hallway. "Jen and I are going out to breakfast!"
She walked out of her room and into the kitchen. "Justin, you can't," she told me.
"Why not?" I asked surprised.
She took a deep breath. "Justin, we don't have the money."
"What?"
"I'm working two jobs and I just got a pay cut."
"Mom, I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do?" I said while hugging her.
"Just study hard, play hockey, and try your best to get a scholarship to college."
"I'll do anything."
"Justin! I just remembered something!" Jen exclaimed.
"What?" I asked quickly.
"How many views do have on Youtube?"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"Just check it!"
"I'm going. I'm going." I walked into my room and checked my Youtube views. "Wow! That's amazing!" I had about one thousand hits and comments from strangers. "Wait a second. I have an idea!"
"What is it?" Jen asked excitedly.
"I should start busking!"
"Sounds great. But um what's busking?"
I chuckled. "I'd play guitar in front of the Avon Theater, put my guitar case down and people can put money in it."
"Great idea!"
"Okay, I'm going to go and ask my mom about it."
I finally convinced my mom to let me do this, if all goes as planned, by Monday I'll be busking after school.
A/N Sorry I took so long to update, had some major writer's block. This chapter was kind of a filler but the next chapter gets a lot better! :)
