He Came Back

Chapter 10

Elliot's POV

We were in the car on our way to the doctors office to see if Olivia was actually pregnant. At least it wasn't so awkward, she was just staring out the window. I didn't mind because I was able to actually look at her, and she how much she changed. Her hair was at her shoulders and her skin got more tanned. She had a tight white fitted shirt,that made her breast push up. Was she wearing a push up bra? God I need to stop thinking like that this is what lead us going to the appointment.

I stop at the red light and looked over at her. She hasn't spoken in 15minutes.

"You ok?" I asked her

"Hm?" She said as she turned her head around with a confuse face that made her nose scrunch up.

"Are you ok?" I repeated

"Yeah just a little nervous." She told me shrugging her shoulders

"Liv it's gonna be ok." I said as I started to drive once the light turned green

"What if I'm not pregnant?" She asked she looking straight ahead

"Do you want that?" I asked

"Do you?" She responded

"I wouldn't mind another kid." I told her shrugging my shoulders

"You want another kid?" She looked at me like I had 3 heads

"Liv I barely see my kids ok? They call me time from time but I miss the hugs,kisses and the pictures my kids used to bring home. I want to do it all over." I simply stated

"Ok." She answered

"Ok? What about you? Do you want to be pregnant?" I asked her

She looked at me and stutter but stop trying and turned and looked back out the window. I shook my head and didn't say anything.

I drove into a parking space in front of the hospital and shut off the car. As I opened the door Olivia's voice stopped me.

"I don't know." She whispered

I looked at her confused at first and realized what she was talking about,she was looking down at her hands. I took a deep breath and got out the car and slamming the door not giving her a response, and kept walking not caring if she was behind me or not.

I heard her foot steps get closer as I walked faster.

"Elliot! Can you walk slower? I am pregnant!" She yelled as she was still behind me

"You don't know that." I said simply as I stepped inside the hospital

"Whatever." She said as caught up with me

"What floor?" I said as we reached the elevator

"8th."

The elevator opened and we walked in.

We got off and walked towards the part where they perform sonograms. We walked up the desk.

"Hi where here to see Dr.James." Olivia told the lady behind the desk

"Name?" She asked her

"Olivia Benson." She said

"Ah! She doesn't have a patient right now so I'll go get her." She told her as she got up and went in the back

"Olivia! Good timing, how are you." Doctor said as she came out the back hugging Olivia

"Good. You?" Olivia asked her as she hugged her back

"Can't complain. Now let's go see if there's a baby in there." She told Liv

"Can he come?" Olivia asked her pointing at me

"Oh of course! Are you the father?" She asked me

"Yeah." I told her speaking for the first time

"Soooo the boyfriend also?" She asked me and before I could answer Olivia answered

"Far from it." Olivia to her shaking her head

I rolled my eyes, she can really be a pain. A simple no would of did the job.

"Well let's go." Doctor James said

I guess she can feel the tension rising too. We nodded and followed her in the back.

"Olivia you can lay on the bed and push your shirt up until you reach your bra and unbutton your pants." Doctor James told her

Olivia's POV

I did everything she told her and sat there waiting for her to get everything ready. I looked at Elliot and he was on his phone playing some game, I rolled my eyes and looked back at Melissa. It was Doctor James first name.

"Ok Olivia are you ready?" She asked me

"Yeah." I said smiling slightly

Elliot has put his phone away and looked towards the screen that the baby will soon be on.

"This is gonna be a little cold." She told me as she took out so blue glue.

"Shit." I whispered as it hit my bare stomach. I heard Elliot chuckle and rolled my eyes

"Ok. Here we go." Melissa told me

She moved a wand across my stomach back and forth, looking for the baby.

"Ok here we go. You see that?" She asked me pointing to the black and white screen

"Yeah. That little blob?" I asked squinting my eyes

"That little blob will be your baby." She told me chuckling.

"Wow! Can we hear the heartbeat?" Elliot asked as his eyes stayed glued to the screen

"Of course! If it's ok with mommy?" She asked me

I nodded my head. She turned on the sound and hear this loud noise.

"Is that?" I asked her making sure as my eyes filled with tears

"Yes. Your 9 weeks and your baby is healthy so far. I'll say your due date is in November."She told me.

I let out a sob and covered my mouth. I felt Elliot grab my hand and whisper in my ear. "Our baby."

"Yeah it is." I told him looking at him as I laughed through my tears

"I'm gonna print out some of this sonograms and give you guys some time alone." She told us and left before we can answer

"Elliot. I want this baby." I whispered to him
