That was years ago. Now i'm graduated, off building my magnificent company. I've been long apart from Vladamir, and nothing lasted with him. It just didn't have time.

"Mr. President!" I heard someone greet me, the absolute adoration oozing out of their voice.

"Today's the day you share a call with Vladimir Putin." I stopped stacking the papers on my desk-filled up with tic-tac-toe games I played with myself- the weight of them altogether were suddenly impossible to bear.

I hadn't heard that name in years.

My head nodded curtly in acknowledgement, and I sent the messenger out of my office.

I ran my small hands through what little knotted hair I had left, remembering all that time that we spent those many years ago.

----

The golden phone in my office rang, and I hastily picked it up. I waited a moment, afraid to see- or hear- how my old school love had changed.

"Yes?" I said, nearly choking on my own words. I sipped from my golden chalice, the moldy, bug taste spreading deliciously through my mouth.

"Is this Donald?" I heard a familiar voice say, the accent untraceable, but so familiar it sent shiver down my spine.
"Y-yes it is." I stuttered, the worms in my stomach squirming around.
I stopped the recording for this phone call, not wanting this sacred moment for me to be blasted to the public. This was my time.
"How's it been a all of these years?" I heard his voice chuckling heartily on the other end of the line, but it felt forced, sad.
"I'm nothing without you, babe." I said nervously, not knowing how professional this encounter should be. After all, we're now supreme leaders.
"Donald-- I've missed you. We should catch up." He said, making me smile.
I sat there in my office, hanging upside down, twirling my hair, enjoying every passing moment between me and my lost love.
When the time came to end the call, we promised each other that we would meet again, across all borders, just to be together.
My heart was beating fast after I heard the beep of the call ending.
When will I see him again?
