VII. The Jar

When Rj dropped her off, Maine immediately went to look for pieces of paper should could write on. She sent a message to him that she'll be using yellow colored ones using stationery that was given to her from past Christmases. He, on the other hand, told her he would be using the blue art paper he bought at a nearby convenience store.

"Ilan yung isusulat natin?" Rj asked.

"Hmm, maybe twenty? So we'll also have options."

"Sige, basta walang pilitan to do it, pero best effort. Deal?"

"Deal."

"Meng?"

"Yes?"

"Wag puro harot yang ilalagay mo diyan ha."

"But, uh, paano kung... WALANG PAKIALAMANAN NG LIST!"

They then bid each other good night and agreed to meet up over the weekend to put their papers in the jar and to finalize their conditions.

"Thank you pala for arranging this non-date tonight."

"Welcome! Thanks for agreeing to go."

The weekend was fast approaching and Maine initially just jotted down whatever came to mind.

But then, as the thought of spending time with Rj started to settle in, she included:
