Chapter Nineteen: The End Has Come

"Dad...Are you ok?" Dreadwing asked as he sat down next to his father, after taking Nightstar's spark he carried her back to Iacon. He had dropped off her body in front of the Autobot hall and was now hiding in a worn down abandoned house in Iacon. He knew it was risky staying here but at this point he could care less about his life, he had nothing but his sons left now.

"I'll be fine..Dreadwing, Skyquake how are your sneaking skills?" The two looked at each other and talked it over. Dreadwing knew he was stealthier but he could always help his brother, he was use to it by now, he never cared anyways. Stormblazer got up and looked outside before grabbing his sons and sneaking into a nearby alleyway.

"You're in danger, they know what you did! Optimus Prime will have you punished for your actions!" Skyquake cried out as they hid in the shadows of the alley. Skyquake's spark was full of pain the more he thought about what he saw yesterday.

"Brother, we cannot be angry with our father for his decisions. He saved our sister if anything, she will be away from this war, for now...Father is a wanted mech but he made the right decision." Dreadwing was considered to be very mature for being so young, just like both of his parents at his age.

"I understand that! But why did he have to offline our mother? What did she do to deserve that?" Skyquake was more than furious with his father's rash decision, his brother looked up at their father and softly smiled.

"As father explained yesterday, Nightstar became a Autobot spy due to the will of her father. She was aiding the Autobot's and their leader." Dreadwing very clearly and calmly explained to his twin.

"I still don't understand. Couldn't we reason with her ? It's unfair !" Dreadwing covered his brother's mouth as their father kept looking around the corners of the alleyway.

"What you need to understand is.." Stormblazer stopped and pulled the two into the shadows with him as a group of Autobot scouts looked down the alley. He waited until they were gone to move and look at Skyquake. He understood his pain but this was a life lesson his son would have to learn the hard way.

"Nightstar chose the Autobot's over us, over you and your brother and new sister. She was going to have us all captured by them. Her decision has cost me my only daughter..I will not lose my sons as well. She had informed them of your sister's gifts." He put a hand on his shoulder. His spark ached as he thought about his daughter, he only hoped the escape pod was on the right course.

"You'll be safe, I promise. Go to Kaon, find Megatron and Starscream." Stormblazer quickly hugged both of his son's for the last time then watched them leave the alley way. He smiled at them before walking out and showing himself to Wheeljack and the Autobots walking past the alleyway.

"Stormblazer...About time we found you," Stormblazer put his hands behind his back as Wheeljack put him in stasis cuffs and shoved him out of the alley. From down the street he could see his sons watching as he was taken away. Stormblazer mouthed goodbye as he turned and left the area with Wheeljack and other Autobot troops.

He knew that this would be his last day alive but he didn't mind being offlined. He just kept thinking about his family, the things that they had gone through during the past 10 years. All the joy, pain and love they had. He would die today thinking on the past and accepting the fact that he was in love with a Autobot spy.

"Hold it!" Dreadwing and Skyquake froze as a group of Autobots surrounded them, they didn't make it very far but Dreadwing knew the Autobots wouldn't hurt them. He knew that the Autobot code wouldn't let them do hard to any child, it was the main weakness of the Autobots.

"Stay calm brother, we will be fine. I promise you," Dreadwing fought hard to make sure his brother stayed calm while they were escourted to the Iacon Central Hall. He kept his helm high and his procressor clear as the walked inside not knowing what was going to happen next.
