Grasping it all

Cast aside

I see you walking on the sidewalk.
Beside you I see my ghost.
At your side.
The same side that left me.
Casting me aside for the betterment of my own sake and for your own well being.
And now I walk alone by myself with no one at my side.

You said its for the best.
I said I know, but....

I guess that is how relationships end though.. One chooses to go to one side,  and the other chooses the opposite side.
