We may have pushed each other away
But to incinerate all the pain caused on that day
Is too much and so it shall stay
Forever embedded in my heart.

The pain of all your broken promises.
The pain of the actual words spoken.
The pain of still seeing you.
The pain of knowing your moving on.
The pain of even thinking about how to
                  begin again.
The pain of remembering your
                  laughter.
The pain of remembering your voice.
The pain of remembering your smile.
The pain of remembering your hair.
The pain of remembering your eyes.
The pain of remembering your touch.
The pain if remembering your spots.
The pain if remembering how you
                  were always there for me.
The pain that I am caused just from the
                  thought of thinking about
                  memories.
The pain when you said to move on.
The pain when you said sorry.
The pain when I fell for a girl
That I couldn't love.

There is no easy way.
Only pain
And time
Can heal the wounds of a lost love'd one.
