Drowning in Sorrow

Part 9

*That night Derek comes home to Meredith sleeping on the couch, he picks her up and carries her to the bed*

*The next morning Derek rolls over and sees that his wife is not there next to him, he wakes up to get Zola up for the day, but realizes she is already up*

Meredith: Hey honey, I made you your favorite breakfast

*Derek feels Meredith's forehead*

Meredith: What are you doing?? *Giggles*

Derek: Are you okay??

Meredith: Yes, i am wonderful, now eat your breakfast before it gets cold

*Meredith and Derek drop Zola off at school and then go to the hospital*

*The doctors are all standing around the desk, and Meredith sets a basket of muffins on the desk*

Cristina: ooooo muffins *Takes one and eats one*

*Meredith walks by*

Meredith: Have a great day everyone!!!

Mark: So uhh what'd you have to do to get her like that? a little dirty work?

Derek: What do you mean??

Mark: Well just a couple days ago she wanted to rip your head off and divorce you.. now you two are walking into work together... Meredith is making muffins for everyone... and tells us to have a great day.. There had to have been a little bit of kissing ass...

*Everyone listens and observes Mark and Derek's conversation*

Derek: What are you talking about I went home last night.. she was sleeping on the couch... I wake up... she has Zola ready for school...my favorite breakfast is on a plate waiting for me... she kisses me...and asked me how everything was with me in the car

Mark: Hm... Women....
