2-Alex- Dresses

        I walked into the living room to see Lily sitting in a baggy tee, reading a magazine. "What 'ya got there" I asked, startling her. She looked at me, cocking her eyebrows as I sat on the coffee table, turning on Disney channel. "I'm looking up bridesmaid dresses Alex, you'd know this if you weren't spending all your time making bad fanart" she sassed, throwing up the middle finger for emphasis.

       "I'll have you know, that fanart is our merch, and that I will be letting the world know that you love Scott through it" I sneered at her, not taking my eyes off of the tv. I'm addicted to the lame drama of whether or not Austin will go after Ally, I can't help it. She just laughed it off and then went back to looking at dresses. That is until..

     "WHAT" she squawked at me. "You heard me" I said, watching her run upstairs to my office. I  walked up behind her watching as her eyes widened when she looked through my sketchbook labeled "merch concepts". I stood in my doorframe, laughing like I was going to die.

       "What the hell alex! You had me worried!" She let out a breath as she saw that I was joking, and that the only way you could see her ship with Scott (personally I call it scily) was if you looked at the spine of the book she was reading in the picture. "Yea, but anyways look through my old dress sketchbook for anything we can use. I'm going to keep working on the Tees, posters and other crap."

      "Okay, bring your stuff to the living room so we can work on it together, imma get the girls on face cam" she said, walking out and rolling her eyes. "ILL GET OUR BESTIES TO COME OVER REALLY QUICKLY,  YOU KNOW, BEN AND JERRY!" I yelled after her, running down the stairs. "You took that from a book didn't you?" She asked when I got to the bottom. "heck yea, got a problem with that?" I responded. She sighed and shook her head as I walked out the front door grabbing my scarf on the way.

      Like usual, I left the house around the time school got out. I smirked as I saw a couple of children, probably no older than ten, holding hands. Then I realized how sad it is that I'm 21 and I still don't have anything like that, so I kept walking. When I turned the corner I noticed that the two had stopped. To uh.. to kiss. Now I don't know about you, but I think that's a bit too much.

So I took my job as a fake mother and member of the community and did what I had to. "AYE NO NO NO YOU TWO!" I yelled two them, spooking the boy. "That's too much, you can only do that when you're married." I said, winking at them. Then the girl help up her hand revealing an obviously toy ring. "But we are" she smiled, obviously joking. But I didn't want to face the joke in her tone.

           "Well then. You have my blessing, I ship it." I smiled then walked away. In the distance I heard them squeal together saying "Alex blessed us! Woo!" I smirked to myself and walked into the dollar general. When I got to the back I realized the only Ben and Jerry's they had was a two gallon container... better get 3. I smiled to myself as I loaded my arms and walked to the counter.

       The cashier was none other than Camryn Lodge. A little backstory on this; when I was in grade school I had a huge crush on him. So I decided to tell him through a note.. I ended up never telling him but when I was writing it I didn't know if he spelled his name Camryn or Camron. So I ended up passing notes to Lily about it during class. She said Camryn and I said Camron, but then I found out I was wrong by swapping papers to grade with him.

         Anyways, at the bottom I put "oh that's how you spell it, I was camwrong" and from that day on whenever we spoke to each other we put cam in front of it. We hadn't talked in real life since graduation because of college and I never really came here anyways, it was always lily. So I guess now this would be time to catch up. "Cam, oh hey I haven't seen you in forever!" I said to him. It took him a second to get it but soon we started a conversation in our ever so lovely language.

"Cam, FaceTime me later" he yelled after me when I finally left. "Cam, you got it" I said, walking back home. After all these years, I still have somewhat a crush on him. But that doesn't matter, he's happily dating some random blonde girl and I'm okay with that. Not really, deep down, but I won't complain. After all I'm on a quest to make Lily and Scott a thing so I don't have time for distractions. Besides Oli. Maybe.

       I kicked down my front door and shut it with my hip, placing the ice cream on the coffee table and actually sitting on the couch for once. lily already had spoons out, so I just grabbed one and started eating. She already had all the girls on Skype, so they all looked at me with distaste. "Hey, I never said I was a lady, unlike you lovelies" I looked at them with equal distaste. They laughed as Lily continued to look through my sketches.

      She found one that she liked and showed it to everyone. Since the wedding colors are shrek green and cotton candy pink, this one works even for that horrid color scheme. It's mint green on the top with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. Then tied like a corset in the back, but with ribbon so it has a big bow. The front is also corset style, with Lines tracing it to the center in dark green. Then it cuts off into a skirt that barely goes over the knee, the skirt having a dark green base and pink lace over it that makes a small train in the back that just goes over the hips in the front. It's thick, so you can only see a hint of green underneath. The belt is the same shade of pink but has a buckle made of rose gold. Not my taste really.

        The girls all seemed to like it, though, and before I knew it, we had decided to make it the bridesmaid dress. Lizzie pulled Joel into the frame of her video and even he agreed. "So it's settled, we get a Tailor to make all of these and we'll use them." I told everyone. "Text Alex your measurements and she'll arrange everything." Lily beamed. She's always wanted to be in charge of a wedding, for some reason.

     I stopped what I was doing and dropped my spoon. "Lizzie.. what a shame" I whispered. Everyone looked at me like I was insane but she responded to me anyway. "What?" She asked, obviously worried. "WHAT A SHAME THE POOR GROOM'S BRIDE IS A.. cussword" I screamed, getting hit off the couch by Lily who was well into her ice cream.

    "Sorry Liz. You know I had to" I said, smiling, while Joel could be heard off screen laughing. We all talked drama and crap for hours until we ran out of ice cream and topics to talk about. We all said bye to each other and logged off while Lily threw away the ice cream containers. She took her laptop and left to go to bed. I stayed out on the couch and FaceTimed Camryn.

      "Cam, so what did you wanna talk about?" I asked him. And he ended up just wanting to rant about the girl he's dating. It was pretty funny actually. After an hour or so I got tired but still he continued to rant about her. I could have taken it seriously but I mean he was talking in the language. If this was anything serious, he would have stopped saying cam.

      "Cam, so why don't you dump her?" I finally asked. He shook his head and sighed. "She's pregnant, I can't leave her" my heart shattered. I don't know why that freaks me out so much, but it does. But since I guess a I can never have him now, back to fangirling over only Oli!.. again. "Cam, Well just treat her right okay? Cam, Make her read some books and maybe she'll become like the characters there, if not just pretend she is" I joked before saying goodbye and logging off.  

       I pulled out a blanket from under the couch and pulled it over myself. And even though I have been postponing going to sleep for a while.. I gotta go check Tumblr for Ali fanart.
