I wonder what kind of girl lived here.

Sometimes,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
Lovey blue eyes,
Long wavy golden locks,
A simple white night dress,
With a ribbon around the waist,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
Running wild with her hair flowing,
Barefoot in the lawn,
Splashing into the fountain,
With her caretaker following her around,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
Sitting besides the fireplace,
Watching the smoke rise to the chimney,
Laughing with her family,
Playing with her friends,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
She must have played a piano kept in the hall,
Or maybe violin,
She must have danced in the parties,
In a beautiful party gown,
Till the late night,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
She must have made a tiara out of flowers,
While the rising sun gently kissed,
Or must have played pranks,
Pretending to drown in the pool in the yard,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
She must have had many jokes and stories,
She must have waited for her father,
To return from work and pick her up,
Her mother must have brushed her hair,
And told fairy tales every night,
I wonder what kind of girl lived here,
Or maybe she was a neglected child,
Trapped in a room,
She must have cried every night,
By window, watching the vast sky,
Oh! I really wonder what kind of girl lived here.
