Evangeline Waters was always the bubbly, funny girl next door. She spent her free time with her best friend Josie, and when she wasn't with her, she was working at Pop's Chock-lit Shoppe, waiting tables.

Her summer seemed uneventful until one fateful day, when Jason Blossom was ruled dead, and the Blossoms lowered an empty casket into the ground. That day, everything changed.

Fast forward to sophomore year. She was battling her morals and her desire, when a certain red headed boy walked into Pop's, all bulked up from the summer, and suspiciously flirty.

What will become of Evangeline and Archie? Will they make it together? Will they even make it out of Riverdale alive?

a/n: just letting y'all know, archie and ms grundy will, sadly, still be a thing in this story. even though i literally hate them and it disgusts me, the plot would have too many holes for me to fill without them being at least a little bit of a thing, although it wont be prominent in this fanfic.
