After Ran stopped crying a while later a dove pecked in the window, as if it was trying to get in. So Ran opened the window and then she notices the letter on the side of the dove's leg. She took the note and read it.
'Dear Ran-chan,
Dont worry about Tantei-kun he is safe with me for the night. I will return him in the morning, so do not worry.

Ran: 'Kaitou KID has Conan!! Why?! How?! I will get KID if he hurts a single hair on Conan's head' *sighs* " well I guess I'll have to wait till morning..."
She then gets ready for bed, when she falls asleep she has a dream that Shinichi never left her.
