It was ten o'clock on a Thursday, and the cloudless coal colored sky was dimly lighted by the moon and stars permanently in the sky. The stars seemed to speak to me, begging me to come outside and get closer. So I did. Once I was breathing in the fresh air that I always loved to pretend belonged to me, it seemed as though everything but that moment just melted away. It didn't even exist. And that's when I started to feel more in touch with nature than I have ever felt before. And I did something I have never done before. I howled.
