I met a girl at work today. Her name is Colby, and she's from New Orleans too. She's visiting Sacramento but she didn't say why. I didn't ask if she knew you, but she knew Kol, I know that much. No one will talk to me about you. That's okay. This helps. Colby was really nice and sweet. It was nice to talk to someone who wasn't trying to decipher my mental state. She invited me out for a night at a fair in Sacramento tomorrow night. I'm gonna go. I hope you don't mind. I haven't had a real friend in so long. Klaus sent me a care package the other day. It had a teddy bear that played a voice-over of Elijah, Kol and him singing a bad rendition of happy birthday. I sleep with it every night. I try not to think about you.
